If Deserve Praise For Heroic Deed Then Deserve Criticism For misdeed !

If You Deserve Praise For Heroic Then Criticism Too For Villainy Or Guilt

If say him ( Kris Shrikant ) the Hero of Prudential ODI,World Cup [ third edition ] ,
1983 final there at historic Lords, England then in the micro peeping, can be said him (Kris) the little or big villain of Reliance World Cup ODI [ fourth edition] Semi final,1987 against team England there at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Kris Shrikant Hero of 1983
World Cup final vs mighty West Indies but the Semifinal that was played between
India and England,1987, baptised as
Reliance World Cup. Alas ! Kris Shrikant was a bit villain or guilty in the semifinal encounter’s concerned there at Wankhede Stadium , Mumbai .
In the Semi Final England’s opening batsman and main dominator or architect of the semifinal victory Grahem Gooch was dropped by India’s Opening batsman Kris Shrikant as the fielder when Gooch wasn’t rooted and then he played a big innings of 115 run and India lost the semifinal by 35 runs due to his brilliant innings and Indian team under Kapil Dev’s leadership missed the consecutive chance to enter twice in the final of the World Cup because India was the depending champion.
Yeah behind each win and defeat ,there are the factors and reasons and if talk about India’s that defeat in the Semi Final versus England in 1987 WC then there were many reasons behind India’s loss but under main reasons’ count , the missing catching chance of Grahem Gooch at the prime stage by K Shrikant played a vital role.

Yes at that time Gooch was at the beginning stage of his innings but after that probable missing by Kris Shrikant,Grahem Gooch played all dominantly and paved the solid path for his team that his team could set a good competitive target of 254. And at that era to get the 254 runs’ target in 50 overs wasn’t easy.
Yes that was the Ravi Shastri ‘s turning delivery and there was a big chance to catch him out at the fine leg when Grahem Gooch made a mistake and that cause Top ~Edge but alas a good and fragile fielder the then K Shrikant couldn’t judge the catch and missed the golden chance to dismiss G Gooch and that was over (according to G Gooch ) because after that dense big moustached opener batter didn’t give any chance and snatched out the match from India by making 115 run. But at that time the factors were not attended by the fans, critics and media .
But after long time or three and a half decade Grahem Gooch himself exposed the hollowness in an interview about India’s captain’s mentality to trap him at on side but the plan didn’t work properly and Grahem Gooch swept and swept to the spinners Maninder Singh and Ravi Shastri so successfully and scored many runs as per his will at the on side by sweep shots. Grahem Gooch exposed that fact and
folly and also about Kapil Dev’s mindset during that phase and the captaincy that he hoped and hoped and didn’t change the field that gave him a great confidence and played freely. Thus mind this bitter fact we the fans can say that India missed a great chance to enter in the final to be the champ again in the row or to keep in the race to win the 1987 ODI World Cup. If puritans mind this great mistake then they couldn’t excuse Kapil Dev and Kris Shrikanth because the fans of the country didn’t excuse MS Dhoni under whom the team India got the height in all the three formats of the game but when India didn’t perform well or according to expectation in the World Cup,2015 they reached at out sided his residence at Ranchi and pelted stones over his premise and cursed him as the captain .Thus they forgot that under MS Dhoni the team reached at the top position and gave proud moments to the nation. So in Kris Shrikant’s concerned here the account is equalled with praise minus criticism because Kris Shrikant was the highest score maker in that crucial final against mighty West Indies and that small innings against fiery and stingy bowlers of West Indies (Quartet ~Roberts,Holding,Garner,Marshell) played a big role when mighty Clive Lloyd and
Company collapsed only on 163 in chasing migre 183 in 60 overs’ quota.
Here Team England set a challenging target of 254 runs in allotted 50 overs’ quota instead of 60 overs according to the new rule . Grahem Gooch played a magnificent knock as the opening batsman of 115 runs off 136 balls and the captain of England Mike Getting also played brilliantly and scored vital 56 off 62 balls. India begun its innings yeah to chase 254 runs’ target yes by aiming 5.4 run per over. Yes at that era achieving that target wasn’t easy and was a tough task. And team England ‘s bowling attack was also strong with three quality fast bowlers and two spinners and their fielding was also good.
At the beginning of the innings India lost the hero of the previous match Sunil Gavaskar ‘s wicket when he was only on 4 run .
Gavasker faced off seven balls. Then joined Navjot Singh Sandhu yeah the mixture of defense and attack . He played well with Kris Shrikant and scored 22 runs off 52 balls though SR wasn’t as per his image, status, cadre and nature. But after well set he lost his precious wicket at the must stay time . And then joined Mohammed Azaharuddin so called a wonderboy earlier when he started his international career versus England when he hit out three consecutive Test centuries in the three Tests. And due to his blazing performance Azhar rooted his position in the
Indian Test team as the middle order batsman . He played well and scored 62 runs on 72 balls but at that time the requiring run rate gotten higher and suddenly Azhar adjudged LBW on spinner E Hammings when he tried to wrap the ball to the leg side. After Azhar’s dismissal came Chandrakant Pandit who was chosen on Dilip Vengserkar due to injury. Chandrakant Pandit played well and scored 24 on 34 balls with three fours. After losing C Pandit came Kapil Dev. Kapil Dev scored quick fired 30 runs off just 22 balls as per his image. But after Kapil Dev ’s dismissal Ravi Shastri joined Mohammed Azaharuddin who was well set and scoring easily but alas Azharuddin adjudged LBW on Hammings on 64 and the task turned tougher. Then came Kiran More and Manoj Prabhakar both got out on naught in pressure. And then Chetan Sharma came and he also played irresponsible shot and India’s hope was dimmed and then well set Ravi Shastri who was well capable to reach the target but got haplessly because there was no good and reliable supporter at the non~striking end and he lofted willingly for a big shot and was caught smartly. Ravi Shastri’s mindset was right at that time because at the non striker end the batting status of Maninder Singh was zero because out of 100 he kissed zero 99 times so he was a Zero or Chifer King. Thus suddenly the team bundled out on 219 runs and missed a big opportunity to enter in the final ! If revisited the match then
once India was in a good condition but after Azaharuddin’s departure who was adjudged LBW the situation gone tougher. Then to achieve the required run rate the Indian batters looked frustrated and lost their wickets quickly and cheaply and England grasped the match and ultimately restricted Indai on 219 and registered an emphetic win by 35 runs’ margin and entered into the final.
The hero of previous match Sunil Gavaskar started innings with flamboyant Kris Shrikant. But after hitting one stylish boundary by the master in the leg side alas awarded his precious wicket on Phil Defretus’s on wicket straight delivery that bowled him out when he tried a willful or intended a big shot for maintaining run rate at the beginning. It was cleared that he didn’t play according to the merit of the ball . After losing Sunil Gavaskar joined Navjot Siddhu who stayed well but
played in pressure and made

22 on 40 balls. Sunil Gavaskar faced away only 7 balls and scored only 4 runs. His partner K Shrikant reached up to 31 run yes by supporting luck and by facing 55 deliveries and SRR was against his style and nature. Kapil Dev joined Azhar and played a sparking innings of 30 runs by facing only 22 balls and alive the hopes . India was looking solid at that stage when Ravi Shastri joined Mohammed Azharuddin but alas at very much essential stage Azhar was adjudged LBW. Azhar wayed to pavilion and then came Manoj Prabhakar,Kiran More,Chetan Sharma who could well eligible to bat but coudn’t handle the situation at the big and crucial moments and gifted their wicket cheaply. And after losing Azhar the match looked beyond the reach and Ravi Shastri was mere watcher at the non striker end. India might be in the commanding position if would play patientfully but alas looked in so haste without onus. Thus India wasn’t in fight in last half an hour. Thus the spectators couldn’t watch the prior confrontration. Thus India lost by 35 runs on its soil before its big fans there at the Wankhede Stadium,India.
Thus India missed a golden chance to revise the glorious World
Cup lifting opportunity to enter into the final and in case of win in the final clash . Here I have attended the exposure of Grahem Gooch who by sweep shots swept the match in his way by marvellous batting. India ‘s big hope particularly Mumbaikers Sunil Gavaskar who slammed one of the fastest ODI hundreds from
India yeah vs New Zealand in the previous match there at Nagpur but here at much required stage you lost your prudence and tried to play an intended big shot and gifted your most valuable wicket very cheaply and put the team into trouble at the start. But behind that the reason was cleared that the 36 not out by him facing 171 deliveries there at the Prudential WC,1975 at Lords and for it extremely criticized and got severe humiliation for that slowest ODI innings .So that fact was in Sunny ‘s mind and felt pressurized not wasting the much balls he tried to play an attacking shot and missed the line and got clean bold . To increase or enhance run rate since the start Sunny played a risky shot but that didn’t work and gifted his wicket and India fallen in trouble. Here Sunny had to adopt another battihg strategy because bowling attack was formidable and different as well .Yes under postmortem we can say it was the pressure to maintain the required run rate and in that mindset the batsmen couldn’t handle the situation and gifted wicket after wicket and delivered the match to the opponent and lost the match by a big margin of 35. After Azaharuddin ‘s departure if Manoj Prabhakar, Kiran More and Chetan Sharma would assist bit well to Ravi Shastri and kept will power well and sincere spirit would have been shown by them with determination and stayed for some time yeah not playing big shots then at the other end Ravi Shastri who was well capable to score and the match could be gone up to the last over or the last ball or very close and the match could be ended with nail biting finish but alas the match ended one sidedly in favor of England. At finally I do say Kapil and Shrikant who were the main heroes of WC 1983 can be say bit villain yeah Kapil for his captaincy and K Shrikant for his probably catching chance of G Gooch.
Yeah each person is mistaken prone by nature and destiny and stamped erratic and these blunders are natural and no player, no team wants to lose the game but it happens in its way and some persons and in the worldly sense the third sense has called it the destiny and against it we are helpless . Yeah some ones believe on luck someones not and it is the matter of discussion .So it’s clear all that happens in the world on Almighty ‘s will , we are just the bearer and puppet in this world on the name of work and activity. In each act God makes each person erred and responsible for act or the bearer. This case was uncovered by Gooch and I
webbed it in my colour and served in my way and weight. The corspe or dead body was burried but dug out to uncover or disclose the real facts because the dead body was not postmortem at that time and under objection it is reinvestigated.
