Yeah those who remained great ,greater and greatest are – Jack Blackhem , Henry Wood Sammy Carter ,Les Amis, Bert Oldfield , Godfrey Evance , Clive Walcott ,Alen Knott, Rodney Marsh , Imtiyaz Ahmed, Bob Taylor, Ian Healey,Jeffery Dujon,Derrick Murray , Mark Boucher, Bred Haddin, Alic Stuart ,B McCullum , Kumar Sangkara, Wasim Bary ,Farukh Engineer ,Budhi Kundaram, Narendra Tamhane,J Watling , Bruce Edger, Saiyyad Kirmani ,Kiram More ,

And in this way the master in both the skill.Yeah if we talk about good wicketkeeper batsmen then Mark Boucher , Alic Stuart ,M S Dhoni , Sajjad are good ones. And the list of specialist wicketkeepers cum average batsman is big . Yeah in the recent period (2018 ) Rishabh Pant is the cricket from India who has shown good performance as the batsman and his real job Wicket Keeping also masterfully. In the pointed Keepers Clarie Walcott, AB De villers were occasional wicketkeeper and genuinely they were batting maestros. Such as India’s Rahul Dravid is one of the batting giants who was an occasional wicketkeeper.

Yeah I have attended a wicketkeeper who is unsung or sung in a partly way who did concede the minimum runs in the Test Match Career . Yes this Wicketkeeper is from the land of South Africa whose name is Danis Thompson Lindsey . Who was born on 4 September,1939 in Benoni, Transweal,South Africa in a Cricket Family because his father was also a Test cricketer and wicketkeeper. His Test debut came on 6 December,1963 vs Australia as Test Cap Number of 215 from South Africa. He played his last Test came on 5 March,1970 vs Australia and due to apartheid tryst /tragedy and banned South Africa from International Cricket participation his good career got ended . Thus his International career spanned 6 years 4 months only . Yeah during that period he played 19 Tests only in which he scored 1130 runs, 37.66 batting average with 3 centuries and 5 half hundreds. His highest individual Test score remained 182. And he as the wicketkeeper batsman slammed 3 Test hundreds by playing only 19 Test . He made 182 the third highest by any wicketkeeper the then. Yeah Imtiyaz Ahmed is the 1st Wicketkeeper batsman who slammed double Test century 205. Before it Les Amis scored 168 n.o. and then India ‘s Budhi Kundaram score 192 . Yeah the wicketkeeper’s job is collect the ball behind the wicket cleanly and not give any a run through Bye . And in this matter Danis Lindsey still (3rd Feb,2022) holds the record to concede the minimum bye runs as the wicketkeeper. He gave away only 20 runs as bye in his 15 Tests’ career as the wicketkeeper career . Though he played 19 Test overall as the Test cricketer. Yes in his 19 Test journey scored 1130 by having 37.66 batting average . He made 3 hundreds and 5 hundreds . Yeah as I already mentioned his highest score remained 182. So I salute this great South African cricketer who buzzed for his outstanding wicketkeeping.
