Not Out In Outs !

First Is The First

Out Thrice But Not Out At The End
(On Charles Bannerman The First Test Batsman of the World Test Cricket History The Aussie As The Opener Scored First Test Run On The Bowling Of England’s speedster and opening bowler Alfred Shaw )

Yes in the innings out three time in the drops concerned but missed by the
fielders and thus saved due to sheer luck and scored 165 and at the score his finger split on a delivery and had to retired hurt when the team Australia was lost out seven wickets ….and then the team lost its 9th wicket and mr C Bannerman didn’t come to bat and thus team Australia’s 1st innings came to the end. In the 2nd innings he came to bat but got out very cheaply only on 4 by facing only 10 deliveries by hitting a boundary . Despite the broken finger he came to bat in the second innings but got out very cheaply due to poor grip . He couldn’t grip the bat well and was cleaned bowled by English bowler George Ulyett . On the 15th March 1877 the Test History starts when when Australia host and the guest England meet in the Historic MCC ground and in that very 1st Test Aussies’ captain Dave Gregory wins the Toss and decides to bat first and his team scored 245. Yes in this 245 total the opener Charles Bannerman’s share was huge and still the record . Yes despite 2000 Test matches this record is unbroken and alive as the maiden feat. Yes if see in the ratio then mr Charles Bannerman’s contribution is 67.35 percent .
Yes Charles Bannerman was dropped before two digit or entered in the double figure . Yeah on reading base Charles Bannerman was dropped thrice times but despite that didn’t care and enjoyed the good-luck and the very first day he scored 126. Yes on the second day he made 39 more and before injured scored 165 with 18 fours yes how many balls he faced off not mentioned or available but England’s batsman Harry Jupp who made 63 ( the 1st Test half century) faced off 261 deliveries but hit only 2 fours in his great patient full innings . Yeah the first Test of the cricket history remained very interesting . Bat first Australia scored 245/9 in the 1st inning . Yes 9 wickets because C Bannerman was retired hurt and was not in the condition to bat again in that innings due to sheer groaning in the index finger . Yes the host could make only 196 in their 1st inning . Thus the host gets 49 runs’ precious lead . But team England bundled out the host Australia only on 104 runs In the 2nd innings. Yeah thus James Lillywhite and company had to get 154 runs’ target to win but alas the team England couldn’t achieve it and collapsed out only on 108. Thus Australia won by 45 runs .
Yeah since that International Recognized Format baptised as the Test the history started with records . Yeah the 1st run ,1st ball,1st wicket ,first catch, bold etc.
But these all are natural and the feat of Charles Bannerman is phenomenal. Yeah the 1st Test centurion also plus 150 score. And the highest share ever in the completed an innings in the Test. And its worthy to attend and buzz ever because after 145 years of long span this record is on the name of Charles Bannerman . Yeah so far till the date ( December,2021) 2000 plus Test matches have played but this record yes to have highest individual shared proportion is on the worthy namr of mr Chares Bannerman. And I described this all because his individual Test score is 165 not out but he was out if the catches would be accomplished but he was dropped by the rival fielders three times and it was his great luck that got a life before entered in the double figures. So he was out but not out batsman. Yes the fans and fraternity do not see the hollowness or this kind of things . Yeah to peep out in the hollow is the work of the critics . So okay I salute mr Charles Bannerman who played a big innings of 165 n.o. Yeah for his worthy entertaining innings in which he slammed 18 marvelous fours the spectators awarded cash prize by collecting mutually that gave the fabulous win to their nation and put them into the glory and proud sphere .
