Out Of 304 Test Cricketers Alas Only One Best And Class Eleven Got Possible From India !

● From The Indian Test Cricket Arena 304 test cricketers have made their debut till the date November,2021 and if have to select the maximum best Elevens from these cricketers of India to have the certain standard then scarcely 3 best Test Elevens made possible since1932 to November, 2021 cricketing action of almost 90 years )

The 1st Eleven*
★Gavasker Eleven★
*1.SM Gavaskar (C)
*2.V Sehwag
*3.Rahul Dravid (wk)
*4.SR Tendulkar
*5.Virat Kohli
*6.VVS Laxman
*7.Kapil Dev
*8.Vinu Mankad
*9.Mohd Nisaar
*10.J Bumrah
*11.Amar Singh

*Remark :

(1)Yeah though the bowling average of speedster Mohammad Shami is better than Mohammad Nisaar but as the speedster I have preferred Mohammad Nisaar because M Nisaar was a genuine very fast according to the contemporary greats like Wolly Hemand and Lan Hutton and was and is compared to legendary one of the fastest bowers of the Test Cricket History yeah with Herald Larwood. Nisaar created fear in the oppositions as the fast bowler and earned big reputation as the paceman so according to me Nisaar’s selection is appropriate overlooking statistics and preferred the class and cadre. Yeah such as his opening bowling partner Amar Singh was also a fatal and stingy pace bowler who too gained the praise of English Cricket Fraternity and he was also capable to bet well .
(2) Yeah I have preferred Rahul Dravid for the Wicketkeeping job because I have to select the bestest Eleven and wanted to include an extra quality batter and there is no cricketer in 304 cricketers who could bat well and keep well behind the wickets yes like Kumar Sangkara,Andy Flower ,A Gilchrist,M Boucher ,B MacCullum. Yeah VVS Laxman can also do the wicketkeeping job. So there are two options as the Wicketkeeper. And when you are an occasional or part time wicketkeeper then it’s cleared that you can do this job very well for the nation’s team if the responsibility is given to you . Yes by having passion and by practice you can do this job. And this decision gives an extra big batsman to the Eleven or can say yes to comprise an extra quality batsman it’s necessary because as a team you have to play against the toughest and strongest rivals.
(3). Yeah as the spinner I have preferred Vinu Mankad because he is considered the biggest all-rounder of india before Kapil the great and he awarded some wins single-handedly by his great and class performance. If see the statistics then Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja stay greater then Vinu the great but both have represented the era in which the Test Match specialist batsmen are lessened because of the impact of the ODIs and T20s. And Vinu Mankad was a big batsman in comparison to Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja and was an impressive spinner who credited some famous wins in the India’s account.

*The 2nd 11*
★V Merchant 11★
*1.Vijay Merchant
*2.Rohit Sharma
*3.Vijay Hazare (C)
*4.Cheteshwar Pujara
*5.Madhav Apte
*6.MS Dhoni (wk)
*7.Bhuvneshwar Kumar
*8.Mohammed Shami
*9.Umesh Yadav
*10.Javagal Shreenath
*11. Ravichandran Ashwin

Note :

(1)Mohd. Azharuddin deserves the place as the batsman in the 2nd best Eleven because of his plus 45 batting average to play 99 Tests with 22 centuries but due to clear involvement in the Match Fixing Black Scam not considered for the 2nd and the 3rd Eleven. His involvement as the indian team’s captain was and is so shameful ever in the cricket history book and disgraceful for the nation’s glory and dignity .The BCC did have digested the issue but being a great lover i totally overlooked his name because he thrashed the nation in the disgrace by his hatred and darkest deed . (2) In the 2nd best eleven I have selected two genuine fast bowlers yeah as Javagal Shreenath and Umesh Yadav overlooking the criteria of under 30 bowling average though these two pacemen have bit plus 30 bowling average only in decimal digit . Yeah both the bowlers could generate 145 plus speed and this kind of speedsters can dismiss the tail enders as per will or soon and by speed gun they can make the way for other bowlers and also get wickets of leading batsmen with the extra pace.

*The 3rd Eleven*
★GR Vishvnath Eleven★
*1.D Vengserkar
*2.M Amarnath
*3.Rusi Modi
*4.Polly Umrigar
*5. GR Vishvanath (C)
*6.F Engineer (wk)
*7.Ishant Sharma
*8. Subhash Gupte
*9. Ravindra Jadeja
*10. Jasu Patel
*11.Bishan Singh Bedi

Note: Yeah in the 3rd Eleven there is no specialist opening batsman . And both the openers have remained the top order batsmen but both the batting maestros have opened innings for india once or while and being the top order batters they are well capable to be the opener for this Eleven. It’s so because there is no batsmen fitted to be the openers who have such cadre and height . Yeah Farukh Engineer is also capable to open the innings . From india only four class openers have produced as SM Gavaskar,Vijay Merchant,V Sehwag and Vinu Mankad but these cricketers have already occupied place in the 1st and 2 nd Elevens so I was helpless to put these two masters as the openers .

*Remark*
304 Cricketers have played from India during 1932 to November, 2021 and an idea flashed in my mind to construct maximum Best Elevens from these cricketers. And for it I decided a certain criteria. Yeah for the batsman at least 40 plus yeah not 45 plus batting average because there are less bestsmen in this list who have managed 45 plus batting average through their career. And if I would put 50 plus batting criteria then only Four Batters would come in the rank yeah they are – SM Gavaskar,
Sachin Tendulkar,
Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli and such as the 45 plus list isn’t bigger and scarcely 10 batsmen are in this mark who have 45 plus batting average yeah they are–

◆Vijay Merchant (Test 9 batting average 47.72 ) ◆Vijay Hazare (Test 30 batting average 47.65)◆Rusi Modi (10 test 46.00 batting average)◆Madhav
Apte (Test 7 batting average 49.37 )◆ V Sehwag ( Test 104 batting average 49.34 )◆M Azharuddin (Test 99 batting average 45.03 )◆VVS Laxnan(Test 114 batting average 45.27 )◆C Pujara(Test 91 batting average 45.11)◆Rohit Sharma (Test 43 battung average 46.87) .Yeah the list of 40 plus and under 43 is also not bigger . Yeah the list consists as- ●Mohinder Amarnath (Test 69 highest 42.50), ●Dilip Vengserkar ( Test116 average 42.13)●Navjot
Singh Siddhu (Test 51 average 42 13 )◆GR Vishvanath( 91 Test 91 batting average 41.93 )◆ Gautam Gambhir (Test 58 average 41.95) ◆Polly Umarigar (Test 59 average 42.22)◆ Sourabh Ganguly (113 test 42.17 average)◆ Pravin Amre ( 11test 42.50 average)◆ Mayank Agrawal 15 test 43.28 average )◆ Prithvi Shaw ( 5 test 42.37 average)◆Shikhar Dhawan (34 Test 40.61 average) ◆Rishabh Pant (Test 25 batting average 39.71) Yeah thus only 12 batsmen are in this list.
Yeah Jayant Yadav who played just 4 test and has 45.60 average,
Karun Nayar who holds the second highest batting average after Washington Sundaram from india yeah 62.33 but played only 6 Test and his triple ton 302 not out put him higher in the batting average. One another batsman of this kind yeah Deepak Shodhan whose batting average is 60.33 the 3rd highest from india but alas he also played only 3 Tests. And the 4th highest batting average holder Cotah Ramasvami whose average is 56.66 but he also played only 2 Test and there is no test century on his name while Deepak Shodhan has one century on his name. One another batsman whose average is the fifth highest from india and he is Vinod Kamble whose batting average is 54.20 who played 17 Test matches . Yeah if I attend the earliest data of the Kanpur Test India vs New Zealand 25 November,2021 to 29 November,2021 then Shreyas Ayar’s batting average rests at the highest yeah 85 but played only one Test and 2 innings.
Washington Sundaram played 4 Test and his batting average is highest that beating Karun Nayar yeah his batting average is grand 66.25 but played only 4 Test Matches and isn’t a specialist batsman )

Yeah only Three Elevens’ construction got possible and for the selection I preferred the statistics based criteria. Yeah for the batsman at least 40 plus batting average. And for the bowlers under 30 bowling average. Yeah Javagal Shreenath and Umesh Yadav’s selection is exceptional because there is and are no bowlers under this criteria so I was helpless to select these two pacemen. In Javagal Shreenath and Umesh Yadav the point is to mind that these two bowlers are genuine fast bowlers .Yeah the bowling average of these two fast bowlers is bit uppish in the decimal yeah under 31 so put the criteria at the deck to select them in the Eleven .
And the prior reason behind this is that there are no pace bowler available better than these two who have under 30 bowling average. Yes to complete Three Best Elevens two speedsters would be required so i had to overlook the criteria and i digested it because the margin was in slight decimal.
Yeah the bowlers from the Test arena who are considered for the best india elevens by observing the statistics are —

● Anil Kumble [Test 132 bowling average 29.65 wicket 619 ] .
◆Javagal Shreenath [Test 67 wicket 236 bowling average
30.49 ]
●Zaheer Khan [Test 92 wicket 311 bowling average 32.94 ].
◆Haribhajan Singh [ Test 103 bowling average 32.46 wicket 417 ]. ●Irfan Pathan [Test 29 bowling average32.26
wicket 100]. ◆Ishant Sharma [ Test 105 bowling average 32.40 wicket 311].
● Ravichandran Ashwin [Test 80 wickets 419 b.a.24.48].
◆Umesh Yadav [Test 50 wickets 156 b.a.
30.39]. ●Pravin Kumar [Test 6 bowling average 25.81 wickets 27].
◆Ravindra Jadeja [Test 57
24.84 wickets 232 ].
●Bhuvnesh Kumar [Test 21 bowling average 26.09 wicket 63].
◆Mohammed Shami [Test 54
Bowling average 27.56 wicket 195 ].
●Jasprit Bumrah [Test 24 bowling average 22.79 wickets 101].
◆Kuldeep Yadav [Test 7 b.a.23.84 wickets 26].
●Hardik Pandya [Test 11b.a.31.05 wickets 17 ].
◆ Mohammad Siraz [Test 9 b.a.29.40 wickets 30 ]. ●Shardul Thakur [Test 4 wickets 14 b.a. 22.71].
◆ Axar Patel [Test 4 b.a. 11.24 wickets 33].
◆NazirAli [Test 2 b.a.20.75 wicket 4].
●Gulam Ahmed [Test 22 b.a. 30.17 wicket 68].
◆Mohammed Nisaar [Test 6 b.a.28.28 Wickets 25]
● Amar Singh [Test 7 wicket 28 b.a. 40.64 ]
●Romesh Powar [Test 2 wicket 6 bowling average 19.66 ].
◆Pagyan Oza [Test 24 wickets 113
30.27 ].
● Vivek Rajdan [Test 2 wicket 5 b.a.28.20 ].
◆Dilip Doshi [Test 33 wickets 114 bowling average 30.71 ].
●Narendra Hirwani [Test 17 wickets 66 bowling average 30 .10 ]
●Venkatpati Raju (Test 28 wicket 93 bowling average 30.72)
◆Bharat Arun
[ Test 2 wickets 4 bowling average 29.00 ].

Yeah to have the certain criteria the three levelled Elevens could be possible . Yes which Eleven is the most powerful is the question then it’s cleared that the 1st Eleven that is baptised on the worthy name of Sunil Gavaskar is the most powerful Eleven in these three Elevens . If use degrees then the third one is Good ,the second is better and the first one is the best . And the 1st Eleven is the all time best Eleven of India if measure the cadre and the height of the cricketers. Before ending my note and enterprise I do say alas 304 cricketers and easily found grade A but only 11 cricketers and for the grade B needed to run the horses of the mind and for the 3rd Eleven yes grade C with great strive and needed deep thinking . Yes thus out of 304 I could get 33 cricketers of grade A, B and C. Yeah this fact reveals that Cricket isn’t an easy game and to be proven great, greater ,
greatest need higher and extraordinary efforts .
Yeah according to have the fixed norms yeah the first is the best , second is better and the third is good Elevens came in existence. But suddenly to respect the performance not figures I decided to build a fourth Test eleven . So the 3 Elevens are class plus statistics
based while the 4th Elevens is only performance base in which class but not required norms . Yes , sometimes the statistics do not speak properly and reveal the clear mirror . So yes it’s my fourth best Eleven to justify with these greats whose figures are not emphatic but yes attending and partly left the footprints in their way.

*●The Fourth 11●*
*S Ganguly 11*
1.Navjot Siddhu
2.Murli Vijay
3.D Sardesai
4.V Manjrekar (wk)
5.S Ganguly (C)
6.Dattu Phadkar
7.Sandip Patil
8.Ravi Shastri
9.Bapu Nadkarni
10.Zaheer Khan

Two Elevens Without Criteria but on the Name recognition

●●5th Eleven●●
*Wadekar Eleven*
*1.ML Jaysimha

*2.Pankaj Roy
*3.Sanjay Manjrekar
*4.Ajit Wadekar (c)
*5.Chandu Borde
*6.B Kundram (wk)

*9.Harbhajan Singh
*10.Erappli Prasnna
*11.Dilip Doshi

N.B. : Under the captaincy of Ajit Wadekar india won the 1st abroad Test series against mighty West Indies and England so I have honoured him to baptised the Eleven name on his worthy name.

*◆6th11◆*
*Lala Amarnath Eleven*
*1.Chetan Chouhan
*2.K Shreekant
*3.Nawab Pataudi
*4.Hemu Adhikari
*5.Yashpal Sharma
*6.Lala Amarnath (C)
*7.S Kirmami (wk)
*8.S Venkatragwan
*9.Irfan Pathan
*10.David Johnson
*11.Varun Aron

Note: David Johnson can be said the Shane Taite of Indian cricket why yes because of his genuine raw pace who clocked 155 place speed in Delhi and india ‘s fastest bower ever on record . David Johanson is said to be fastest bowler of india in the speed concern but alas due to inaccuracy or uncontrolled line and length couldn’t become the horse of long race and his cricket career cut short. But due to his great speed draw attention of the cricket fraternity. Such as David Johnson I selected Varun Aron due to his pace who clocked 153 plus speed and was impressive but due to injury his career also ended soon. But in this Eleven Lala Amarnath like great cricketer is the captain and I think under his supervisory and super guidance these both the speedsters would give something best and special because both were talented bowlers .

Seventh 11
CK Naydu Eleven
*1.S Mustaq Ali
*2.Nari Contractor
*3.Salim Jafer
*4.Col CK Naydu (C)
*5.Ekanath Solkar
*6.Salim Durrani
*7.Ramakant Desai
*8.Rishabh Pant (wk)
*9.Roger Binni
*10.Venkatesh Prasad
*11.Venkatpati Raju

Ultimately I do say if I have to select only one ever Bestest or all time greatest Eleven ever from these 304 Test cricketers of India then my choice is as the following :

{ All Time Ever Best Eleven Of India }

●1.Vijay Merchant
●2.SM Gavaskar
●3.Vijay Hazare (C)
●4.Sachin Tendulkar
◆5. Rahul Dravid (wk)
●6.Mohinder Amarnath
●7.Kapil Dev
●8.Subhas Gupte
●9.Amar Singh
●10.Mohammed Nisaar
●11.Jasprit Bumrah
★12.Eknath Solkar

Note: According to my choice above Eleven is all time best Eleven ever from india. Yeah in this Eleven no place of Virender Sehwag as the opener , no place of Virat Kohli as the batsman in the middle order. Yes no place of Ravichandran Ashwin,Ravindra Jadeja as the spinner. Yeah a surprised odd preference of Mohinder Amarnath as the batsman . Yeah suppose india have to encounter Mr Bradnan’s invincible,mr Daglus Jardin’s body line terrific attack and mr Llyod’s monsters then Mohinder Amaranath is the best protester . Yeah Vinu Mankad is a hot favourite as an all rounder yeah spinner and batter but there is one top class specialist spinner as Subhash Gupte. And Kapil Dev as the best bowling -batting all-rounder. Yeah there are three specialist genuine fast bowlers as Mohammad Nisaar ,Amar Singh and Jasprit Bumrah. And these five bowlers are well potential to dismiss any batting line up. So I didn’t prefer Vinu Mankad as the spin all-rounder because his batting average is only 31 and bowling average is 32 and so I preferred a world class master class specialist batsman who could bat well against the genuine quality speedsters. And Mohinder Amarnath has remained the batting -bowling all-rounder. Yeah he was a medium pacer but physically very potential if he would take bowling job seriously . And at the prime he was selected as the bowler and later moulded in the batting master . And if the wicket is turning or not Sachin Tendulkar was well capable to bowl of and leg spin . Due to Rahul Dravid who has delivered the job of Wicket Keeping I could include an extra master batsman as Mohinder . I didn’t prefer Virat Kohli because in my sense Mohinder is bigger if see the class and avoid the statistics. Vijay Merchant is a big batsman whose FC stats are so ample after Don Bradman the great. And due to World War 2nd his career was affected and also ill health suffered his great career . Yes Vijay Merchant played only 10 Test matches and his batting average can be said handsome and till the date his batting average was highest from indian Test Cricket. Yeah Vijay Hazare rested 2nd in the average. Sunil Gavaskar is the bestest Test cricket batsman in my sense and then I put Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid after Sunny the great .
