Yes so called Test match in cricket is really a test because the bowlers , batsmen,fielders are tested fully at each level. But after Kanpur Test Match’s result ah I felt that it is the test but not fully because it is also a limitation prone format. Yes why it’s so because the Test Match is played for Five Days not timelessly. So most of the Test matches end in a Draw . And it gets aching when the team can’t win only by marginal runs and wicket . Yeah if we remind the result of Oval , England Test match where india couldn’t win due to the time and also there was possibility for host England’s win but alas that thrilling encounter ended in a Draw. And in Kanpur india missed a great victory only by a one wicket margin . So all the efforts gone vain and monotony in the result concerned because indian team was in big condition of win against the guest New Zealand. But alas it was the time limitation of five days and 90 overs a day restricted the win of the host india .
So genuinely there are Three Formats in Cricket and all are limited prone because T20, F50 known as the limited format but the Test match is also a limited format because in days term it is played for Five Days and per day 90 overs compulsorily. So up to Five days 450 overs for both the teams . And due to this limitation the results affected in this and that way and surely seeming defeat and win adjusted in a Draw . So it’s not good . Yeah Draw means Result less not equalizer . Yes due to the time limit the result didn’t come that’s it . Due to rain or other kind of calamities yes materialistic and natural is a different things and the match is called of as Draw is liable and digestible but due to the time limit the match ends in the Draw is unbearable for the fans and the teams. So the Test Match wouldn’t be framed in the limitation. And to test really the Test match must be Timeless and it would prosper Cricket and some extraordinary records can be come due to this nature . Each team and fan wants the result and without result there is no match . Why is cricket played due to earning money, yes answer is no . But okay
cricketers chose it as the career and profession so money is all essential to survive. And the boards has to pay those cricketers and afford all expenses . But the real aim is to spread brotherhood, entertainment,
thrilling and to give glory to the nation and its fans . So spectators aren’t needed in the Test match if they have time problem, nervousness or boring problem. And under Covid19 pandemic the matches have played without the spectators . So for the Test match height yeah the Boards must overlook the presence and prefer only the game. And for it the government and corporates must give financial aids. We have seen that before 90s there was a little salary and allowance fir the cricketers but despite that it was played and great cricketers have produced during that moneyless era.
So the Test match must be timeless . Yeah in the history of the game some Timeless Test matches have played and such concept is much needed again and ever to see the result of Kanpur Test that saved New Zealand from the certain defeat .
