The Last Rite Systems: A Glimpse !
●*That’s Why Burning The Deads In Pyre A Great Device Of Hindus’ Ritual Cult ! *●
There are three systems or customs in the world to destroy dead bodies as the funeral . The first is to burn the dead bodies in the bonfire or pyre that is followed by the Hindus . To bury the dead bodies under the ground in the Judaism, Christianity and Islam religions. And the third method to perish the corpse is to leave the body open at the cremation ground or the temples tower that it would be food of the vultures and crows or other carnivorous creatures yes this rite is used by the Zoroastrian or Parasis . Which system is better in these three rites ? Yes to see the eco balance system the third process is the best because after dying you as the dead body survives some ones and in this way you do benevolent human act and it’s a sacred act also and all praisable that even after death yeah you proven as utility for others .
In deed it’s a great system near to divine .
But to mind the environment it’s dangerous for the man because it is not necessary that vultures would come at once in those required numbers and eaten up whole the body . And if four or five vultures eat that body then it would take time and decay might be a big and serious problem all around the premises . If supposed to be ten or twenty dead bodies are brought at one time to be funeral then it’s in serious question . So the cremation ground is far ahead from the city but decay problem would follow there also. And people around that area may be suffered due to stint or decay . And the dangerous worms and bacterias could spread in the atmosphere and spoil the fresh air and can be contanimated the air . For cremation there is a particular place in every village far away to the village. Or at the barren or solitary place .In the city though the graveyards and crematories are established out side the city but the city gets extension long and wider year after year so in the big and metropolitan cities the places of say adieu and final rite are situated middle in the city but yes by covering huge walls and having distance the colonies are permited to dwell . There is a point of discussion. Yes which system is better to say
good bye to any dead one . Yeah the different systems are adopted by the different communities and are in the function and the custom ,its okay . We respect all the systems in their worthy belief. But scientifically which rite is better or best . In the scientific sense yes burung the body in the bonfire is the best because for it you need very small place but for it you need lot of dry fire sticks, ghee, etc . And it’s bit expensive. And despite all burnt yes some remains are left that are flown in the river. And the burnt bones are pure componant that is not harmful but yes can be said pollute the fresh water and might be etaten by some water creatures. And the science has developed the gas ignited cremation or electric crematory the places where the dead body gets burnt in minutes. Yes i attend the second system of cremation . Yes burying is also a better device to say farewell from this mortal world . Why because to see your close ones burning in fire ahead of you is very unbearable but have to see and digest the rite . So to rest dead one in the hole or ditch so called grave is peaceful . You just put the dead body gently in the grave and fill up the digging place with the dust . And in this the place would be turned into a monument by putting the name plate and no one can bury there another dead body . And the relatives ,
well-wishers can go there to pray on certain days as holy remembrance. But in the Hindu cult alas there is no certain place rests because one after one many bodies are burnt there all publicly because there is no mark of cremated person allowed . Yeah in big and particular cremation ground the big and dignified person’s body is burnt there and the monument is built in his great memory but for the common man it is not in the trend . Yeah it means he or she was a public figure and we know public figures’ number is rare or less and has everlasting credit and goodwill so deserved the memorandum (Samadhi in Hindi Language ) and a private figures’ numbers are bigger in the common works so the people as the fan of his or her liking or wanting are limited so no memorandum place is marked .
Yes each thing has its pluses and minuses such as the buried system also has a minus point that it needs a bigger place to bury the bodies . If follows the grave or tomb system . Yeah those tombs that are alive by regular prey or as the memory then the place problem can be created . But I think if the body is buried and there is no sign then at that place the grave can be dug for other dead .
Yes to put this all shake my aim is to put a story . I read about that famous hollywood artist Charlie Chaplin. Yes after his death his dead body is buried as to follow great Christianity rite. But after some days his body was stolen from the grave. Then it is found with great effort then buried again . This episode is very appealing and striking and this made me inspired to write this note . Yes in bonfire to say good-bye system no one can steal the dead body. Yes remains can be but after next day of burnt the remains are collected but the person can steal the remains after night by cool down the pyre. But to be stolen remains isn’t use except hurt the relatives’ emotions but the buried dead body can be sold in the medical research centre and also for sheer penance can be eaten by the Aghori Babas who often search in the dead bodies to eat as the manna and believed that act could meet them the ill power or demon power . And by waiting to be turned into skeleton it can be used . So can say burying system is bit unsafer whether it is common man or reputed man. Yes for medical science the use is the same .Suppose Charlie Chaplin ‘s body wouldn’t be recovered what would happen then and what did the relatives and government do ? Indian legend Subhash Chandra Boss’s remains also not found so far and an unending sigh of the nation as well as his relatives thirst ever for it. Mr Subhash a great revolutionary figure of India’s freedom history was dead in an air crash incident and his death is unsolved mystery ever ! The Hindus worship the remains of their dead ones .
