Some Ungentle Act By the Gentlemen!
t
Cricket is the game of gentlemen’ s game but it has exception too !
Cricket is the game of gentlemen though each game is the game of genteels but particularly the game cricket is only introduced as the gentlemen’s game. Why because the white uniform is decided for it since the splendid start . And the white colour represents for peace and eliteness . And this gentleness was maintained up to infamous body line series. In the body line series nothing held ingentle and all was legal according to the law of the game . The bouncer was the part of the game and was legal according as per the game. Though speedster Larwood and particularly Bill Voss denied to bowl in this way but captain Jardin was insisted for it. And for the game’s height and under the rule it was not illegitimate so liable in Jardin’s view.
But after the game progressed and it touched out the professionalism misconduct intruded in this game. And some infamous or inferious incidents happened in this game and this game’s gentleness enigma fell in trouble . The so called white players gone black in attitude and behaviour. The infamous episodes often chide out this game . Yes Denis Lilly – Jawed Miandad, D Lilly -S Gavaskar, Harbhajan- A Symond (monkeugate ) Mankading like incidents mock out toward the gentlemen’s deeds . Then match fixing and sledging like mirrors came in the light and this game lost our it’s angel approach. And for india ‘s 1983 WC victory “Kapil’s devil” is used while the team players were so meek and docile in attitude and mannerism.
Yes why I delivered this all ….. only because I read out the comments of Madan Lal in the TOI one of good all rounders of india and the worthy member of world cup 1983 triumph . Who is presently member of BCCI’s advisory bureau. Mr Madan Lal says –He likes Virat Kohl’s aggression in the field . In this concern I do say the aggression must be in your game not in your body and attitude. See Imran Khan ,Kapil Dev ,Richard Hadlee, M Marshal , Greg Chapple , Sunil Gavaskar, Viv Richards ,I Bothom, Don Bradman, L Hutton and many ones who were big players but you can see meekness in their body and aggression is in the game. After taking 5 wicket haul and making century , by hitting six and getting wicket in all the condition they were calm customers. But in sense of Virat Kohli alas ….. his arrogance gives panic to the real cricket lovers and cricket fraternity. And when you get failure those fans point out at you . They mock you .So arrogance is not good for the sportsperson. Mind he is warrior of different cadrevand apostle of the game . See Alexander who behaves with defeated Poras as king not in inferior manner. Yes in success you have right to express joy but not in the vanity manner. See Ken Williamson of New Zealand who remains a calm fellow in all the conditions. So the remark of Madan Lal is undigested and being senior he must condemn this kind of attitude because you are a senior and mind the fact that the players are the role model and the ambassador of the world who put example and shower harmony . As a true lover of the game I condemn this kind of behaviour and attitude in the field. If you want to win hearts then win hearts of your opponents then you are indeed the good or supreme player and the real icon . The game is not at all though the game gives you you all. Without game what status you have. The game gives you name and fame. You are the man before the player. See player like Sachin and Lara, D Bradman and L Hutton who have touch paramount heights to through the game and as the man framed as the angel or god. They are indeed the elites as the players and individual.
No doubt Virat Kohli is a big player but as the arrogant man I don’t put him elite hall of the fame. See Rohit Sharma ,Rahul Dravid who too are Ostrich of the game but goose too. With cricket culture the cricketer must follow human cult that is higher than the game and your game’s quality.
