Tata Ratan’s Final Tata’s 2nd Year Completed, Yes,On His Death Anniversary My Emotions!
RATAN TATA’S SECOND DEATH ANNIVERSARY
(BECAME HEAVENLY BODY ON 9 OCTOBER 2024 AND BECAME MORTAL ON 28 DECEMBER 1937)
Yeah, from where I start about this great Indian persona of commercial world. Yes, it has put me in the garden of varied flowers. Yeah, which flower I choose first. I mean which episode of his worthy life or personality or achievement i do attain and write on it.
He was one of biggies and it’s natural to feel sheer confusion that from which part of his worthy life i attend first became his life is full with enterprises saga .
Yes I do take stance and take strike from the worthy memoir that I recollect from the television interview that once I heard and also watched and listened on the social media.
But with his original reactions and replies I add something literary, spicy and yummy delicate aroma through my philosophical approach.
THE ANCHOR’S QUESTION AND THE TATA’S PHILOSOPHY
Yeah, in the interview, the host or anchor asked Mr. Tata Ratan that Mr. Mukesh Ambani is the richest Indian and ranked the third in the world according to the Forbes Magazine, why you not…… Mr Ratan Tata then replied with great philosophical tone ~
See, we are not merchants or traders .
We are industrial dynasty and legacy of 100 plus years. And here in his reaction I add my literary philosophy, yeah~
Ours capital is like the capital of the nation. And it doesn’t change like Mohammed Tughlaq, yes, so called a mad or lunatic or freaky emperor from Slave Dynasty (in Hindi Language Gulam Vansh, founded by Qutubuddin Aibak, who began the huge construction of Qutub Tower or minaret in Delhi and that was completed by his successor Iltutmish becauseof his death.) or scion.
Yeah, Sultan Mohammed Tughlaq who changed his capital Delhi to Daulatabad.
Ours capital always remains stable and constant like polestar at the maximum required amount.
And you know the industrialists aren’t like mushroom.
They are like the Banyan Tree.
So Mr. Interviewer, you couldn’t compare ours group and others like Birla (Bidla) group to some traders. Yes, we are business barons or tycoons. I mean , yeah, you couldn’t compare us with Mukesh Ambani and Adani.
They are merchants or traders. In this context i extract a famous couplet (Urdu-Hindi ~ Sher) of famous Shayara, yeah, poetess Shabina Adeeb – “Abhi to ye daulat nayi nayi hai” (in English – yes in present your property is newer or you have become rich earlier ). Yes, traders always reckon the rhythm of the market and drop their hands in the bowl of gold and draw the hands from the bowl of coal. And the destiny plays its role with them that sometimes put in the 7th sky, sometimes in the black well or deep ditch. Yes, with estimation they step out and invest and always in the situation of uncertainty.
So we aren’t in the billionaire race ever.
We believe in permanent business or enterprise.
We employ thousands of people permanently.
And not light only their hearths but shine their faces also.
We donate lots in charity but never drum it, expose it, show it.
No, never, it’s not ours image.
You know the place in the billionaire rank is always temporary. And anytime the crown is snatched by destiny and put in frustration and depression. We are the reputed and established dynasty so need not destiny. We accept all kinds of conditions wholeheartedly, saying no matter, its okayed. We do not complain for any loss because we do always ready to accept loss of billions because we also earn profit in billions. In trading field the trade is like the mouse and cat sports.
Sometimes Ambani ahead, sometimes Adani ahead
Our dynasty reigns for one century. Our property is stable with solid establishment. We, the Tata ethos is always to multiply trust and assets.
Never bankrupt, never declared insolvent like other corporates.
According to the authentic media news Mr. Anil Ambani had huge debt, yes 49,668 crores and the banks made settlement it in only 455.93 crore. Thus national banks had to suffer a big deficit or loss. Blatantly its national loss. With that huge drowning amount thousands of families hearths could be lightened. Yes, I mean many families could be survive for many years. I am sorry to use this harsh words for Anil Ambani, who is a gentleman and the husband of beautiful bollywood diva, actress Tina Munim. In this regard I have sympathy to him that his luck didn’t work like his elder brother and he didn’t declare bankrupt deliberately.
The nation knows Vijay Mallya (once Kingfisher beverage king) and Subrata Roy aka Sahara Shri put the national banks in trouble by gulping the huge loan. In this regard Vijay Mallya fled to England and Subrata sent to Tihar Jail and left the world without paying the debt. So my emotion is suited to these kinds of debtors who bellowed huge amount of banks and public.
We never applied – desh ko chunaa laganaa ( in Indian English slang -” lime to the banks” , and in pure English term – eroding public money (or in English phrase it is ~ willful default).
Yes, I mean not digest national property.
We multiply banks’ assets.
NO ONE IS UNTOUCHED WITH THIS ELIXIR OF WORLDLY LIFE: YEAH LOVE AND LOVE
Yes, love is a natural emotion in the world in the human beings. Albert Einstein like great scientist, William Shakespeare, the greatest dramatist like persona too loved. Seer Vishwamitra, Parashar, emperor Ajatshatru and many greats not remained untouched with this violent and vehement nature of worldly life.
Mr Ratan Tata was very handsome person and many women could fall in his love. And he was from the richest dynasty of India, that was also the reason that any beauty or celebrity could fall in his love and be lured to marry him. Love is blind nature and it happens naturally, yeah sometimes seems handsomeness, sometimes personality, sometimes physical strength and sometimes family and money.
Othello is the best example of Power ~Yeah, that he was black and ugly in the face but a mighty and brave warrior and by thepost or dignity a chieftain, that the beautiful princess Desdemona fell in his love and married him. One another chieftain loved her who was white in color and smart guy, but Desdemona rejected him, not loved, and her father’s choice she denied.
Yes, Mr Ratan fell in love with not one but four beauties or females . Many persons thirst even for one love but Ratan was lucky that four belles lost their hearts on him. It happened because by face, figure and personality he was so handsome and above it belonged to the richest family of India. And amazing that despite four love affairs he remained unmarried throughout the life. As I have said in my writing, in India the love story is like a Bollywood movie like story. What, yeah, each love story ends into marriage. And Mr. Ratan was also about to take marriage decision with each one but because of some prior or critical reason he couldn’t tie in the pious nuptial bond with anybody. Thus, he
passed his life as a bachelor. But despite unmarried he didn’t repent. He paid his great devotion to his family’s grand legacy. Mr. Ratan preferred his family greater than the marriage.
Out of four love affairs his Los Angeles love episode is the most famous in the Indian history .Yeah in 1960s when he was working in Los Angeles, in America, he fell deeply in love with a girl there. He loved her very much. Marriage was almost decided. But at the same time, his grandma (Navajbai Tata) who raised him as a child became very ill in India.Knowing it he had to come back for 7 to 10 days all suddenly. He thought that his lover would come to India with him, or he would go back.
But because of the 1962 Indo-Sino (India-China) war, the lover’s parents did not allow her to go to India. Distance became the reason. He came back for duty to his grandmother, and that love remained incomplete. We know distance is the cruel thing that makes persons barren and loosens the bond whether of love, friendship or any kind of relation.
Mr. Ratan himself said in an interview on CNN Channel, “I came close to getting married four times and each time I backed off in fear or for one reason or another.” Thus, he missed a splendid and envious household or marital life. Love affairs are temporary though above than the heaven pleasure. And marriage is a permanent or established status but when the mutual tuning and understanding worsen it could becomethe hell. . Yes, marital status is a big social status. And it is legal by the society, religion and law. And that gives descendants that become the owner of paternal property.
And under this perception he said: “I love children, but I never got married, so I could not have my legitimate child or baby.”
THE DOG PASSIONATE LOVER
He had many dogs in his Bombay House whom he loved a lot. He cared for them like their patron. Yes, throughout his long life journey Mr. Ratan Tata cared a lot about his pet dogs such as the street or stray dogs. During his glorious life he tamed German Shepherd in numbers regularly. Tito and Toto were his last pet dogs who lived in his great love and care. But he had a very special affection with a stray dog whom he found injured in Goa when it was a pup and being so piteous and enriched with human values ,he brought it to Mumbai and made his family member. Mr Ratan was in Goa, the beautiful beaches city in India which was once a Portuguese colonial territory. After merging in India those Portuguese adopted India as their motherland and living with Portugal culture mixing with Indian culture. Yeah, that visit was to open the luck of the stray pup, named after Goa.
Once a pet dog of Mr. Ratan Tata was injured and there was no remedy for it in India, then that dog had been carried abroad for the prior treatment. Since that incident Mr. Tata decided to open a huge hospital for the animals in Mumbai under his worthy charitable trust. Now that is in the middle of Mumbai, yeah, Mahalaxmi Area. The hospital is equipped with all remedial facilities for the animals. For the cure of street, stray and pet dogs, he kept 165 crores, yeah, a huge budget or investment amount. Mr. Ratan Tata mentioned special budget for his pets in his Will and all the responsibility of caring and handling was delivered to his loyal cook. The dog Goa who was so close to him , joined his beloved owner Mr. Ratan Tata’s last rite, yeah, the funeral. Mr. Ratan Tata belonged to the ancient Parsi family that sheltered India as the refugees due to attack and killing by the orthodox people of Iran. Mr Ratan Tata was cremated following the Hindu custom. Why did his dead body had been thrown at the roof of the Parsi Temple as per their religious rite yeah,to make food of the vultures . Yes,there was the heavy lack of vultures in Mumbai. So it was decided to burn him.
MR. RATAN TATA’S BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
If talk about his business skill, yeah, he was a rock solid and determined person. Yeah, with his outstanding intelligence approach and sense he made difference as the Chairman of his entrepreneurs’ Group. He was graduated in Architecture (BArch) from Cornell University, America, yes, also with engineering field and then did Advanced Management Program (AMP) from America’s world known Harvard University and so had specific understanding and command over the business and its approach. The business DNA was already in his blood so since the start he was matured and refined business persona. Business’s nature is uncertain~ that ‘rise and fall’ is its mirror.
So we see the different rank of the billionaires in the world in the Forbes. The luck is another factor ~ that the businessman who gets a huge empire with time falls suddenly while his elder brother reaches, yeah, at the top three in the billionaire ranking world of authentic famous magazine -The Forbes.Yes ,fellows i am talking about Mr Dhirubhai Ambani ‘s elder son Mr Mukesh Ambani who is in sky but the younger son at the bottom of the earth due to unsuccessful in the trade.
In the crisis Mr Ratan Tata showed his great mettle and morale and brought it on the right track and not kept its high status like his predecessors but gave the greater heights and kept his dynasty’s legacy very high. He kept his great duty with great desire and passion.
Mr. Tata used to spend money in charity work but his charity was silent ~a man who kept his own love story silent did never drum his charity act like other people.
MR. TATA’S GROUNDED LIFE STYLE
Yes, despite the billionaire, he led simple lifestyle. Yes, lived in a small flat at Colaba, Mumbai. In colours ,yeah, Colour White was his most favourite colour. We know white is the symbol of peace and brotherhood. And by nature he kept that evergreen in his dressing sense. He used to wear the white shirt. He himself drove his own car. His food was simple. He used to wear simple footwear’s. He always remained away from glittering life.
HIS GREAT VISION GOT FAILURE
(ON HIS GREAT PROJECT, YEAH, LAKTAKIA, YEAH, THE NANO CAR)
Mr. Ratan sir had a great vision that he introduced an affordable car for the middle class with low budget car. Yes, he launched a mini car that had cost only one lakh. He observed that the common man has also the dream to have a car but the costs of cars in the market were very high and except riches no one could afford the price. And wow ! Yeah , at the beginning it rocked dominantly and slowed down or affected other companies’ cars. But after sometimes the mentality affected and scenario changed suddenly. What?! Yeah, the car cost was made issue — that it’s very cheap and was called ~the car of poor (Garib in Hindi) and it was considered that the Nano holder’s economic or financial status is lower. The point and mentality put the Nano owners in inferiority complex. And, ah, the selling gone down in whopping amount. Mr. Tata understood the point and what he thought went reverse. He at once decided to drop down or summed up product of Nano and locked the industry. He said in an interview that it was my big blunder or mistake to launch the Nano car. My dream was to have a car for maximum Indians but alas it was scaled in the status.
I, NK Sanatan says, A car is car whether it be Land Rover, Mercedes, Ferrari or Rolls Royce, yeah, all run on the Coaltar Road not on the silk or Gold road. Each car experiences the owner and the boarded people’s decay or stink or bad smell of sweat and other airy sources. And each car runs on the road on rubber Tyres (tires) not of Diamond. Each car runs on fuel, yeah, consuming petrol not nectar.
RATAN TATA’S SHEER PASSION VISION AND WORTHY CONNECTION TO THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) INDUSTRY
Mr. Ratan Tata modernizing and Scaling TCS: Yeah, while Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was founded before his tenure, Ratan Tata championed its passionate globalization. Under his supreme leadership as the Tata Group Chairman, TCS launched a historic $1.2 billion IPO in 2004 and transformed into a global tech powerhouse, eventually becoming the financial engine of the entire Tata conglomerate.
PROSPEROUS STEPS OR LAYERS ~
THE IBM REJECTION: Early in his life, Ratan Tata’s very first major career opportunity was actually in IT sector. He accepted a job offer from IBM but his cousin and super boss of Tata Dynasty Mr. J.R.D. Tata intervened not to join and persuaded him to join the family business.
TECH STARTUP CATALYST: After stepping down as executive chairman in 2012, yeah, as per Groups’ legislature at the age Seventy Five so successfully. During his worthy core tenure or stint, he became one of India’s most influential venture capitalists. He personally backed and mentored over 40 digital and tech-driven startups, including Paytm, Ola Cabs, Snapdeal, BigBasket, and Xiaomi, etc.
GLOBAL TECH EDUCATION PHILANTHROPY: Through the Tata Trusts, he heavily funded academic technology and research. His most notable international contribution was the Tata Innovation Center at Cornell (yeah the University where he graduated in Architecture) Tech in New York, designed to bridge the gap between academic tech research and commercial industries.
And his vital and phenomenon service and precious contribution to the nation he inspired the youths of the nation to make India high-tech and modern digital power.
And for his spirited Services the Government of India bestowed one of the most prestigious award and title Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan, yeah, India’s the 2nd and the 3rd highest civilian honour.
PHILANTHROPY: YEAH, DEDICATED THE WEALTH IN SERVICE OF NATION AND COMMON OR NEEDY PEOPLE
INSTITUTIONALIZED GIVING THROUGH TATA TRUSTS:
Yeah through the unique structure of Tata Trusts Mr. Ratan Tata ensures that the majority of profits are routed back into society, focusing heavily on education, healthcare, and rural development.
HIS AMAZING WILL:
Yes, each billionaire or rich person’s Will is always a curious query for the media and public. Mr. Ratan Tata as I said he fixed certain budget for his dog and given onus to his trusted cook. Mr. Ratan Tata left his ₹10,000 crore estate. In which he kept the major share that went directly to the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation (RTEF) to guarantee that his charitable efforts survive long after him thoroughly with keenness and not obstructed due to lack of money.
NURTURING THE NEXT GENERATION
If talk about his post-retirement life as a prolific angel investor, supporting over 40 Indian start-ups and personally guiding young entrepreneurs to build a more dynamic, modern Indian startup ecosystem. Yeah, through this revolutionary professionalism he opened doors of jobs for the youths who were talented with their degree. Mr. Tata’s innovative mission gave a unique place to India and for it the corporate world applauded him.
He endorsed out the big and open opportunity that was initiated by the finance minister and illustrious economist Mr. Manmohan Singh. Mr. Singh’s green signal for globalization in India strengthen the will power of Mr. Ratan Tata and changed the scenario of Indian industrial and business market.
CRISIS LEADERSHIP
WHO IS THE REAL CHIEFTAIN OR LEADER, YES, WHO LEADS THE ARMY IN DEFEATING OR LEAN CONDITION IN THE WAR FIELD
Mr. Ratan Tata retired at the envious age of 75. Why envious, because out of hundred people 70 percent people would have retired from this world. Due to sudden leadership crisis he stepped in as the Chairman and handled the critical circumstances properly with great prudence and experience.
Yeah, during national tragedies he showed his great compensated nature that he supported and helped the victims of 26/11 terror attack projected by foe-friend Pakistan Hotel Taj tragedies and also the staff.
Ultimately, under my long narrative or Mr. Ratan Tata’s saga on behalf of his second death anniversary I do say that a true legacy cannot be measured in the trillion-dollar market cap of his companies, but in the trust of a billion people. He remains a timeless blueprint for purposeful, ethical leadership. I pay my hearty reverence to him. If in the paradise there would be the corporate world, I do sure, the great Indian and global icon Mr. Ratan Tata will reign there.
WORTHY REMEMBRANCE TO PASSED AWAY PERSONA MR. RATAN INDEED A JEWEL TATA
Mr. Ratan Tata remained hero of management students and evergreen hero and ideal for them. His precious quotes on orienting business and management and character as well is really inspiring. In the worthiest and oldest business dynasty of India he remained a blazing personality. And in the Tata industrial Dynasty he is superstar after Dorabji Jamshed JeeTata, the founder of the Treasure precious diamonds. As one of his fans I pay my heartttiest homage to him and sweet remembrance of that business visionary with ocean velocity but of Pacific Ocean.
