( The Caribbean tour of Pakistan team and the first test match encounter at Sabina Park , Kingston ,Jameca.The encounter was namely because as a spectator on TV Ten Sports-1 live telecast i observed it with heavy heart and by reminding past glory of West Indies felt Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! And picked up my pen and write the agony in my words just 2 ease my mind.)
In India the IPL in my sense bogus tourney but in general sense great league encounters between the buyers’ teams . Being cricketer of my class and level i do have pain to this disgusting system and scold it out clearly and say its just an insult and disgrace and players have to reject this loathsome system and instead of auction the graceful and glorified word must be used because players are the figure and capital of the nation and considered as the patriotic figures. No way it’s in the trend and trade and no player has objected ,rejected and utmost attend this caliber point. Anyway the big IPL is on its 10th successive journey and rocking in Indians fans and world around because different players are represented in this biggest league of BCCI,the richest board of the world. So the tournament has got abundant successive since the start and swinging colourfully with shallow and dense entertainment with all entertaining fashion and tricks because the organizers know it very well that it is just a club like cricket and absolutely dramatic show and almost unpatriotic drama and it can’t attract the fans and non fans i mean just time passer to entertain anyways so comprising all extra attractions like bouncing beautiful and sexy girls the jumbo band and some other tactics.
It’s the rocking 10th edition and according to the media the number of fans spectators have increased but in my sense not the audience as fans increased but can say only the watcher or onlooker kind of people have multiplied. But yes number point of view the viewers have jumped. In the jokers and clowns ‘ show only entertainers throng while in the heavyweight boxing ring around only the pure lovers reached to enjoy the encounter by heart and soul. The big summer cricket league entertaining fashioned and sparkling carnival cum drama as IPL is on in India and many fans are enjoying it but you get to stun or shock to know that i despite a biggest lover of game cricket didn’t watch even a single scene of IPL event’s on my TV set. Why ? Because i am not just the watcher but the worshipper of this game . I in this sense do prefer only National and international events and utmost the real fighting and all matchable bout or combat. In cricket concerned i prefer Test then ODI and lastly the T-20.
Behind this background or scenario i want to focus on some particularly point that is the poor or miserable bowling of the present Caribbeans under lanky and almost 7plus in height captain Jeson Holder and company and i being watched the first match at Sabina Park Kingston West Indies live on TV feel that ah there is no match and no contest of ball with bat . Pakistan in its 1st innings is in commanding position against WI because it has bundled out WI only on 280 runs in which Amir the speedster of Pak cracked West Indian innings by getting 6 wickets on just 44 run cost.
Batsman Chase made 67 and captain Jeson Holder 57 n.o. . Due have this description or summary of the Test match the envious terrific past history of the Caribbeans had in the 70s and 80s under great Soberse R Kanhai C Loyad and Viv Richards that the bowling company of these guys created terror among the opponents. Since 2000 to 2017 i can say the world cricket hasn’t seen such a typhoon whose terror could make unrestful the batsmen ever the tail enders and at night no fobia , no in dream as demon that the bowlers terrified the batsman and no any any fiery duo like Lily-Thompson, Ambros-Wals, Hall-Griffith, Akram-Wakar, Roberts-Holding, Marshal-C Clark ,and quandary fellows company of Garner,Holding ,Roberts and Craft and later M Marchal and even not terror but honoured like G Meckgrath-Gillepssi,Wass Willis Bothom and Donald , Hadlee. Yes there are many speedy talents produced in 2000 to 2017 but don’t use their full strength stamena aggression skill craft passion and stingy will that the pacers like Styn Lee Polak Johnson Hermission couldn’t creat any terror like the past greats. Though their success is satisfied if we observe the data or figures but the figures of these fellows don’t clear or present the obvious picture of the greatness. And one more thing is responsible for their non stingy and not becoming terror for the batsmen due to restriction of the bouncers in an over and this factor made batsmen prone zone or put batsmen in the comfort seat. Only one bouncer in an over made lame or handicapped to the bowlers in the test match . And its not justification with the bowlers. Its discrimination with the speedsters.To bowl bouncer you need great stamina courage zeal power craft passion stinginess sharpness intelligence sound fitness band what not.
And apart from it a fast bowler need constant accuracy consistent perfection and spirited attempt with variety bowling using Yorkers incutters outcutters air swing reberse swing and nose music awesome delivery and chin knock measure blowing delivery and completely reckoning the batsman tempo the non reaching delivery. Thus as a fast bowler you can make difference but ah in present west indiesspeedsters completely zero percentn so not affected or reflected . Against such a complete speedy bowler the batsman’s class quality temperament tactics passion courage recklessness wisdom is testified.
We know the historic body line Test series between two arch rivals Australia and England in which the captain of mind and strategy D Jardin who targets the body of the batsmen to make them lame and nervous and compelled them to gifted their wicket cheaply. At that time there was no helmet and quality body protected shields and accessories. But due have courageous mindset and pre decided spirit he came ahead and for a while put Ambrose in the nervousness. In the sense of bouncers i have already written sibce before in my cry and named limitless cricket as the Test Heavyweight Cricket Format. There no kind of limitations would be followed despite deliberation or ill will by unfair means. If such spirit has been followed by the test cricket fraternity if boss ICC for the existence of real cricket implemented this fairest frame. If this thing has been adopted by ICC then all test match will be result prone and highly interesting and entertaining. And i claim 100 % fans will throng in the stadiums to watch real fight. And then no need to implement such clown cricket T20 and F50 because any test match if bowler prone pitches are forced or made any test match can be finished in 2 or 3 days.
When ICC can introduce T20 only to have entertainment then why not this kind of heavyweight format test cricket for lovers like me who are die heart cricket toxic fans real cricket and like only heavyweight boxing not Vijendra like mask and mocking fighting and prefer only the heights of Mohammed Ali and J Frazier heights.
Ultimately the team Pakistan has registered great victory by 7 wickets. The West Indian fast bowlers tri and on the reserved bench are geographically have such natural physical stature but lack of length and spirit like their great predecessors. J Holder more than 7 feet tall and Gabriel and Joseph too are almost 6 feet but onlyb the height is not enough if i were at J Holder as a bowler to have such giant height i do believe i could bundle out any team under 100 single handedly yes on any track or pitch. But alas its only a thought of ifs and buts. Great Sunny Gavaskar my role model once desired to be bowler in the next birth that who could avenge those bowlers who bowled him the bouncers and hit him .
