One who comes in the life must have to meet death or leave the world once or while . And the planet the earth is called the mortal planet only because of of its decaying , depreciating and withering nature.
Indian cricketer MS Dhoni who remained in the cricket action more than 19 years after all put full stop by declaring his retirement from the great game. The game gave him all the name and fame. Through the game he got abundant popularity and amassed million of money or in the indian proverb the goddess Laxmi jee showered pelf wholeheartedly on him. He is from a middle class family but cricket included him in the peer class.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni blazed in Jaipur ‘s ODI where he smashed 11 sixes and he impressed Gen Parvez Musharraf the then the Prime Minister of neighbour cum foe Pakistan.
And since then he became an essential part of the indian cricket as the Wicketkeeper batsman. And due to his compact game and nature the captaincy was delivered to him. He as the captain achieved all the heights for the nation . Under his leadership India became World Champion of T20 WC and F50 World Cup. And in the heavyweight format Test match rating at the Top rank. Thus his career as the achievement point of view remained so dazzling and courteous.
As a wicketkeeper he remained so fragile and sharp with the act and sense. As a wicketkeeper he created fear in the opponent batsmen. If we talk about his batting talent then he was fitted only for the ODI and T20. Why… because according to the cricket text of batting he was not a perfectionist and can say technically not sound but despite lacking he had capability to stay on the crease or wicket to have his own style and courage. In ODIs his record is phenomenal as a batsman. As a wicketkeeper his performance is so high in all the three formats. He started his career as a wicketkeeper and soon established as a reliable batsman. At the primary stage he remained as the hitter or an aggressive batsman but later moulded him in a compact batsman to have his non conventional technique and cast as the big finisher . His great innings of 91 not out against Shree Lanka where he promoted himself as the batsman where india was struggling and his recklessness worked awesomely and he finished the game with the height in a scintillating fashion and passion and awarded the 2nd World Cup to the nation.
MS Dhoni left great footmarks for his great leadership quality. He was a calm watcher and not a frustrated skipper like great Kapil Dev. He used his approach to have all human pluses and minuses. He knew blunders are natural and its happen in the life or game . He knew the man is an effegy of errors and no one wants to make mistakes . These are the part of the game. But by his innocent but query some face he used to tell all that it’s okay but hope not to repeat next time by get sincere . As the captain his achievement is above all the captains of india and in dubious that in the future any captain would repeat it soon. Yeah two big diamond in his crown. After Kapil Dev’s world cup 1983 feat under MS Dhoni’s exemplified leadership india repeated the feat after long 28 years. After 1983 cricket became the cult and the cricketers got the esteem of gods and remained worshipable cadre or image among their fans.
MS Dhoni was from a middle class family but cricket made him peer. Through this game he earned big name and fame. He got run out in his ODI debut against Bangladesh on the duck. He was a great athlete but that moments were not of him and his mistake ended the big journey of Indian cricket team in the world cup. Though he wasn’t slow there at that time but luck was the big matter that betrayed him at that critical stage.
His retirement is woeful ….. why ….. because …..the nation as well as the world is under Covid19 pandemic and the charm of cricket such as the life is lessened itself . We are passing through a critical stage due to Corona Virus and to survive life is the big issue. The games are played without spectators and in this scenario the decision is quite right . MS Dhoni has achieved all envious and illumineous feat and left nothing. There was no reason to await more and there is a big bench in the country to fulfill his place. Yeah he was a big cricketer and deserved a huge honouring farewell. But who knew the future and here MS Dhoni made another folly in his life like the semis run out. So he has to retire all in a barren deserted time and land. India’s high dignitaries like the PM, Home Minister, President ,the corporate lobby and big cricketers like Sachin has wished him on his retirement is itself the mirror of great character and big cricketer. He has adorned with numerous national and international award and honoured and retired to have worthy reputation and have no remorse at all at this stage. Dear and dashing cricketer you have entertained a lot and gave great joyous moments to us . Wish you all the heights for the 2nd part of life.
ODI has no option of the 2nd innings but we know life is like a Test match and we all have the 2nd innings….
