I Do Not Like To Flow with The Common Wind
[ On India’s great Test cricket series win against Australia in Australia ]
Wow team india has done what hasn’t happened before. Yeah india dusted Australia ah not mighty Australia but weaker Australia in the land of Australia.
Before start the series the Paine and company was in questions to its weaknesses and the performance in absence of mighty due Smith and Warner.
India lost series there in S Africa and England because they were with their full strength and if india won their under Virat’s leadership then this task would be considered great and there would be no roam for the critics like me.
Series point of view indeed it’s a feat because 72 year’s span is a long await and after 11 series it’s a great pleasure for the indian fans. In the point to be mind that despite big presence of Sachin , Ganguly, Sehwag ,Dravid , Dhoni, Laxman,Kumble , Zahir , Harbhajan the team india who toured Australia but couldn’t registered any a Test series victory there in Australia as the guest. During these greats’s presence the rival or the host was not mightier than india if compare the record but it was the home condition that favoured the host and thrashed india aback.
During these greats’ era there was Painting ,Hyden, McGrath , Gilespy , Gilchrist, Langer ,Wagh brothers,Warn Clark were the big names and compare with these greats then ours indians players were also great and if rates point if view if evaluate then both team would rest equal so their win and ours defeat is digest unarguably. But this series victory which india gained is arguably in questions . The critics and sheer fans like me always want the undisputed champion.
In 2011 india won the world cup in india and after passed years some body pointed out that the Shree Lanken team was compelled to play for fix. Though the investigation made and it was found nothing and given clean chit.
There is the question if Steve Smith and David Warner would present in the team and if India wins then critics and lovers of the game like would complaint and have nothing to condemn or criticise.
And this so called poor team under Painy who didn’t lead his team with the front otherwise the result would remain different.
Despite poor squad Australia got defeat their at Adelied only by 31 runs ,in Peth OZ got bigger victory yes by 147 runs and in the third yes india won but by 137 , yes in the 3rd Test there at MCC or Meliborn india got huge win and in the fourth Test it was sure that of huge victory but due to rain and bad light Paine and company avoided from a black stain of big defeat.
So ultimately there is no occasion to make fuss on this great series victory. But each coin has two side or gemut and if we by keeping unbiased heart to viewing gemut we have something to fuss. I don’t like that the Australians and critics would estimate our series victory lesser because their team was poor. In that what is our mistake.
If Steve and Warner were not presented but they had the class bowling attack and why they could not make indians giants if they were angel or God.
At last I hail our great indian cricketers who have bestowed great moments to get please.
Hope in the ODIs the feat would be kept with the same spirit.
