“Silent teller but elite”
Only people will admire Manmohan Sing who are erudite cum prehensile, reason being his far sighted vision plus his grasp of indian economy.
He was neither a flashy leader nor crowd puller like Mr. Modi, who is known for alluring speeches in electoral gatherings , yet he was leader of excellent capabilities.
He’s tenure saw india making great strides in the field of IT ,agriculture and industry, but he’s great work was not triumphed and advertised for he’s feats were meant for India’s development but not his own image polishing.
As a famous saying goes – what you do in night appear by day irrespective of whether it’s good or bad. Dr. Singh’s work was remarkable and void of sectarist ideas, issues of non- relevance were never raised or discussed at national forams during his regime , he’s foreign policy was excellent and top of all these he was nationalist.
These were the virtues of Dr. Singh that led Obama to heap praise on him ,that too, when there was no mention of him in the question posed by Karan Thapar.
