Notes

* I have chosen my best eleven of two different era. And I have placed the biggies of their time who have left their remarkable presence and some are in the action. *Note- There are many great names have left but you know I had to place only eleven. So players like Virat Kohali, Dilip Vengsarkar, VVS Laxman , A Prasanna , Shri Niwas Venkat Ragwan, Zahir Khan , Mohammed Azharuddin, Ekanath Solkar, Nawab Patodi, Mustaq Ahamad, Harbhajan Singh , S Kirmani , S Patil, Yashpal Sharma, Ck Nayadu , Jasu Patel ,Chandu Borde , Salim Durrani, Sourabh Ganguli, etc. Yes each person has its own perception and concept and according to it he has its favourites and best ones. But yes apart from it to remind and evaluate all the person has to give place in the squad when the matter of the best eleven. *Yes these are the players whose data or statics speak the story of their greatness and class and the cricket fraternity salutes them ever. *Yes if these two giants clash in the Test what would happen difficult to say but according to my view the team before 60s Will win the series yes by 3-2. *Comparison between greats : Openers : 1. Merchant vs Gavaskar Yes here both are master of opening batting and in my sense Vijay Merchant leads a bit Yes 100-99 point 2.V Mankar vs V Sehwag Yes undoubtedly here Vinu seems far ahead than Virender Sehwag Why???? Because of great technique and temperament and against tough wicket and tough bowling attack and Captain like Lala Amarnath who was so strategic and intelligent his technique is tested indeed Viru could be thirst even for 30s while he has 2 triple and one just 6 short to triple. The duo of M.Nisar-Amarsingh was genuine fast bowlers and also quality ones and against this kind of pacers and Spin wizard as Lala Amarnath, Vinu Mankad, Subhash Gupte , Bapu Nadkarni were such a trapper and sure enticed the flamboyant Virender. According to my view he didn’t test fully and when tested he remained failure. So point here 100-30 3. VHazare vs R Dravid Though technology both are equal but Vijay Hazare is leeading here because the legend Don Bradman showered his praise on his class batting . He was contemporary to Don and his record is emphatic and had power to carry match to victory singlehandedly while Rahul Dravid didn’t have such a morale like Vijay Hazare. So here point ratio 100- 40 4. Here this place due have terrefic record Sachin seems giant but it is well said that the figures not say true story ever so I don’t underestimate Poly Umarigar he was the most rocking batsman before Gavaskar and Vishwanath and the highest run gettor of his time from indian test batting arena. So proportion rests 100-80 5. V Manjrekar vs M Amarnath Yes here 49-51 being all rounder Jimmi lead a bit 6. F Engineer vs Dhoni Here Farukh leads yes by ratio 60-40 yes because of the Test Farukh who remained opener and much sound batsman than M Dhoni . Dhoni is fragile than Farukh in Keeping wicket so in Wicket keeping 49-51 7. Yeah great to discuss this slot Both the captained of indian side. *In captaincy Lala was great *In batting field Lala Amarnath is bigger than Kapil *But as a bowler Difficult to compare Because one is spinner and other is the speedster And both are master in their bowling field But Kapil being the pacer leads than Lala so point margin is 50-50 8.Amar Singh was so quick than J Shrinath And ability to bowl 145 plus up to long spell so
