**On Pujara’s 11 Body Blows and His Unbatsmanship Reason Count- Shittttttt !!!! **
{ Poor reason count by the Test specialist batsman Cheteshwar Pujara behind the ball taken on body or allow stump on the body …..Question on this poor technique
against Australia’s bowling atrack )
Cheteshshwar Pujara let the cause behind taking the deliveries on the body rather than the bat. C Pujara faced merathon 211 balls against Australian bowling attack. In which he took 11 balls on his body that panicked him a lot but anyhow remained able to survive his valuable wicket that played a big role in India’s historic win against Australia in Australia. Today I read that he took the balls on his body intentionally only to avoid danger not to loss his wicket. He let that it was risky to played that balls with bat due to catching possibilities. Those deliveries were unplayable and the bat was not its answer . Yes only the body could play those fatal deliveries. Sometimes the speedsters make the body target but sometimes the batsman himself allow to take ball on the body. It is one of the technique and he used it by will and futile the attack of the rival in this and that way and in his aim he remained successful. But here I objected this technique. Yes why…….? Because it is not good batsmanship . When you have bat to play how can you play the ball on the body by intention. So it should be the rule in this aspect. Yes the batsman takes the delivery on his body and if the opposition feels that the ball is taken on the body by the certain will then it can be challenge by appealing and the umpire too feels then he could raise the finger or could confirm to the third umpire if have doubt. There is no rule and nobody could have heeded out towards this bitter facts. In 1932 when mr D Jardin enforced out to use the body line bowling and put all the fielders at the on side and the speedsters R Larwood and Bill Vose targeted the batsman’s body by over pitching deliveries or the bouncers. The media and fans criticized that strategy but the critics favoured it by saying it is right according to the rules of ICC. And since that series the rules were made in this issue. The media and fans reacted by saying it is not cricket. It is the murder of cricket. But how can you say it is not cricket. When the batsman has the bat ,the protective apparatuses or shield and above it the technique then there should be no problem. And despite have this all the batsman gets injury then it is cleared that he is imperfect and he himself responsible for being hurt. It is so thinkable that C Pujara let this kind of unbatsmanship reason . But it is good that he has revealed genuine reason with all honesty . And critic like me have got the theme to discuss and extracted me to point out this serious theme.
The ICC must have attended this point and soon enforce out the rule in this concerned.
