*Lord Indra the king of paradise and mighty demon king Rawan of Lanka puri and universe who have the beautiful wives and husband devoted life partner but ahhhhhhhh they attracted at the other beauties and defamed as the disloyal husband if we take it in the present perspective of modern era though in that age it was liable and polygamy was in the trend and almost kings , riches and elites used to have more than one wife. Thus extra marital affairs were in the societal trend and despite have more wives those greats are known for their damn work of rape. In that age the sex particularly except wives was acceptable that why no condemnation is revealed in the holy books. Yeah due to it the sages and their wives have cursed because spiritually they were empowered . Those greats haven’t been lodged as rapers in any a court. So what was the real situation at that time is just a illusion in this subject. Lord Indra succeeded greatly in this aspect but Ravan who abdicated Sitajee for his thirst and vengeance as he remained failure to win her in the so called Swayamwara . Swayamwara was the tradition for biggies in which all suitors used to invite of such cadre who deserved same dignitary and status. Mighty Rawan couldn’t lift up the divined bow of Lord Shiva-the creator of the world according to the indian mythology. Rawan was the mightiest and the emperor of the world and heaven who snatched out the Eden from lord Indra so he felt insulted when couldn’t perform the bet put by the Mithila king Janka the father of Sitaji. So he was in agony when the simple Brahmin kumar Ram who was with his guru Vishvamitra though he was the eldest prince of kingdom Ayodhya. So he had cradled the vengeance and by fraud in disguise he kidnapped Sita ji .
Thus those legendary characters have extracted in the holy books and due to it the agonistic people have chance to oppose or point out on them. Yes these kinds of related anecdotes are published by the famous magazines like Sarita, Kadambini, Chanda mama and most illustrious Dharm yuga.
Such tales I have read out in my young hood days or as pre adult age. The stories reveal that the king of heaven lord Indra raped or seduced out many ladies of high dignitary and unequalled beauty because he a supreme body .
It’s in the questionnaire why lord Indra slipped on his grace and dignity despite have the beautiful and devoted wife. Such as mighty king Ravan who snatched the kingdom of Lord Indra too have a pretty most and loyal wife but too displaced despite the pundit or learned of all arts. It shows that the love and sex is the weakest as well as strongest nature of this universe. Rawan dared to kidnap a married lady . It reveals that he preferred heart not body !
