Donald Trump’s Doubts And Alarm For The French Regime!
France’s current riots, violence and unrest — Reasons according to President Emmanuel Macron: inflation and unemployment. Ah! What are the real reasons behind them? A query in Sanatan’s hawk, vulture, owl eyes and Devil’s mind.
Ifs and Buts — The Reasons Behind The Unrest In Present France, Yeah, Macron’s France
Inflation is a common global problem. Behind inflation, many direct and indirect elephants and factors play their roles. And many hidden reasons are responsible for it.
The world has experienced serious economic disturbances due to international conflicts, particularly the recent USA-Iran confrontation and its implications for petroleum supplies and international trade. When two nations fight, the whole world can be affected in different ways. Why? Because international trade and treaties make nations dependent upon one another.
Being a superpower and an undeclared super political boss of the world, America tried to pressurise Iran to accept its conditions concerning the Strait of Hormuz. But Iran rejected the pressure boldly and remained prepared for confrontation.
In his second term, President Mr Donald Trump, perhaps with the mindset that Iran would agree easily before his powerful status, underestimated the complications of the situation. Its strategic relationships with Russia and China also complicated the matter.
Why do Russia and China support Iran diplomatically and strategically? International rivalry, geopolitical interests and America’s support for Ukraine are among the factors shaping these relationships. So, in politics, no nation, leader or political party can be a permanent friend of another. Self-dominance reigns in its own way in every field.
The worldly principle — The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Thus, the wild nature rules in politics, even in worldly selfish life. Yeah, all the sport is of dominance and belly!
We see it when we offer some loaves of bread or pieces of biscuits to a group of six dogs. The two powerful dogs dominate the situation and eat those eatables. If the remaining four dogs try to eat, those two dogs grunt or growl at them, yeah, frighten them away. And those four dogs do not dare to touch that food.
These are political strategies, compulsions and ambitions of political leaders. Iran’s resistance, international alignments and the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz have made the situation complicated.
Transportation is the main pulse of life and the world, yeah, if we talk about the materialistic world. Maximum transportation facilities depend upon petroleum commodities, yeah, literally Liquid Gold.
So inflation rises if fuel rates or prices rise in the international market. The Russia-Ukraine war also affected the global economy, particularly energy and food markets. But any serious disturbance in the Strait of Hormuz can have particularly wide consequences because of its importance in international petroleum transportation.
The international situation remains vulnerable, and the world lives in jeopardy whenever such strategic conflicts remain unresolved. Ah! Who can say when the next economic shock will arrive?
France Is Burning And Suffering
According to media reports, the present unrest in France has several connected causes. Rising living costs, fuel prices, poor school conditions, pressure on public services, employment-related anxieties and dissatisfaction with government policies have all contributed to the agitation.
The government and President Emmanuel Macron have to face these grievances, while opposition parties and different social organisations are raising their voices.
But is inflation the only reason behind this burning and imbalance of law and order?
Ah! That is the query.
Donald Trump’s point cannot simply be dismissed, although his explanation connecting immigration directly with the unrest requires independent examination.
Donald Trump’s Explosive Bomb On France’s Abrupt Unrest
Donald Trump’s America First slogan mesmerised his nationals when he was a presidential candidate during his first election campaign. Yeah, voters were impressed and voted in his favour with considerable support.
His political success has been closely associated with this strong stand and nationalistic voice.
The world knows that America experienced a dreadful terror attack on September 11, 2001, when hijacked aircraft struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, killing thousands of people and causing enormous damage to life and property.
Yes, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center attack shook and stunned America. That incident made America determined to pursue those responsible, yeah, the revenge instinct!
America fixed a highly secret plan to eliminate Osama bin Laden. Under Operation Neptune Spear, its brave, trained and intelligent commandos entered Pakistan at night, reached Abbottabad and killed the Al-Qaeda supremo on May 2, 2011, during Barack Obama’s presidency.
Osama bin Laden, who had been hiding in Pakistan, was successfully targeted by America’s sharp and skilled commandos.
His terror organisation, Al-Qaeda, was responsible for the dreadful September 11 attacks. Bin Laden was identified as their principal mastermind.
There was a striking similarity in the names Obama and Osama. 😄
Since that tragedy, America has become seriously cautious about its national security. The operation demonstrated that even a powerful terrorist organisation could be pursued across international boundaries.
India has also suffered bitterly due to Pakistan-based terrorism. America and India have developed security cooperation, particularly concerning terrorism and regional stability. Israel, too, has faced repeated attacks by extremist organisations, particularly amid the continuing Israel-Palestine conflict.
In the TERROR concern, yes, prominently, the world has suffered due to extremist organisations and their violent activities.
Since then, America has remained highly vigilant about national security.
Though I read and listened in the Indian newspaper Dainik Bhaskar and news channel Republic Bharat that some drones were reportedly seen above Washington during the Iran conflict. Was that a rumour, or were those AI-generated clips? I cannot confirm it. But if such an incident were verified, it would raise questions about the American defence system.
We also saw that despite having an advanced intelligence agency, Mossad of Israel failed to prevent the Hamas attack of October 7, 2023.
The attack exposed serious intelligence failures. Many Israeli citizens lost their precious lives, and properties were destroyed.
Ah! Even powerful nations with advanced intelligence systems are not invulnerable.
So, Trump’s concern or doubt is about France’s future.
Yeah, France, a great nation of Joan of Arc, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Voltaire and Napoleon Bonaparte!
Trump suggested that one day Paris could become a Muslim city. By commenting instinctively, Mr Trump was raising a serious issue connected with Macron’s broader political position on immigration.
In this way, he was indirectly pointing towards the possible consequences of France’s immigration policy. He suggested that the sheltering of refugees and allowing large numbers of immigrants could create social and political complications.
Obviously, under immigration, different kinds of people can enter a nation, yeah, liberal or rigid, peaceful or potentially dangerous. Ah! There is no device to recognise completely what a refugee has in his or her mind.
And in flowing Ganges water, some intruder could wash his hands in the holy water!
Due to this Indian proverb, I do say that any wrong or crooked person could enter through a liberal gate.
If we examine Trump’s comment through sincere churning, perhaps he is alarming France about the possible consequences of its immigration policy.
When a writer pens down his thoughts, he may explore all possibilities under his deep thinking. But a prediction must not be confused with a proven outcome.
The 1881 Law Of The Right To Expression Is In Danger
Yeah, and wow! Great France, the worthy and glorified nation of Napoleon Bonaparte, has a remarkable legacy of freedom of expression.
The French Press Freedom Law of July 29, 1881, became a landmark in protecting freedom of the press and expression. Before this great human valued Right the France government does not generally recognise blasphemy as a criminal offence by its great and prosperous Constitution. A person can criticise religion, religious books, beliefs and institutions, although the law still restricts certain forms of hate speech, defamation, threats and incitement.
Yes, under man’s natural fundamental right, the Right of Expression, any French citizen can express his or her views on Almighty, epics, priests and religion.
It means criticism of religious beliefs is not automatically a criminal offence in France.
This is a great human-oriented legal principle.
Obviously, a Christian may criticise another religion, and a follower of Islam may criticise Christianity. A person can also question the beliefs and practices of his or her own religion.
Why? Because no children see defects in their own mother and father easily. Similarly, people sometimes hesitate to examine the shortcomings of their own religious traditions.
But a rational mind should be free to question every belief.
And there has been historical enmity, rivalry and ideological conflict between different religious communities.
A Christian writer may question Islamic rituals, religious interpretations or epic verses. Similarly, a Muslim writer may question Christian doctrines.
Yes, Salman Rushdie, the author of The Satanic Verses, dared to write a controversial literary work dealing with religious themes. He faced extraordinary hostility and threats. I salute the courage of a writer who dares to enter difficult intellectual territory, even though readers may disagree with his interpretation.
He reminds me of a modern Kabir in the sense of challenging established religious sensitivities.
If some protagonists like Kabir, with his passion and moral courage, criticise Islamic and Hindu religious practices equally, then their criticism deserves examination rather than automatic condemnation.
Kabir was a bold Indian literary figure and saint who questioned religious hypocrisy in both Hinduism and Islam.
But criticism and hatred are different things.
France became the modern Fifth Republic under its Constitution of 1958. Its constitutional principles protect secularism, equality and freedom of belief.
And today, France has a substantial Muslim population. However, religious affiliation is not officially recorded in the French census, so exact percentages are estimates rather than established census figures.
The rise of religious conservatism and extremist movements in different parts of the world has created serious challenges for liberal societies.
But a fatwa is not simply a synonym for killing. It is a religious legal opinion; some extremists have misused religious authority to issue threats and justify violence.
So, in present France, where Muslims and Christians live together as citizens, the question is how to preserve freedom of expression while protecting every community from intimidation and violence.
If a Christian French citizen criticises Islam, or a Muslim citizen criticises Christianity, the law should protect the right to peaceful expression.
But if someone threatens, assaults or incites violence against the critic, that is an entirely different matter.
I, Sanatan, ask: when freedom of expression is a national principle, why should anyone be intimidated into silence?
Yes, peaceful protest is also a democratic right. A person may disagree with a writer, demonstrate against a publication or approach a court if a legally recognised offence has occurred.
But peaceful disagreement must not become violence or intimidation.
The question is not whether protest should be banned. The question is whether the fundamental right of expression can survive when intimidation becomes stronger than reason.
Yes, France must preserve its freedom of expression, its secular character and its democratic institutions.
If the law or provision is entirely under man’s rights and good for mankind, it deserves protection. If any person feels a defect, he should present his objection through reasoning and constitutional methods.
And if his objection is true in a universal mirror, on a reasoning basis, then he must be hailed by the people as a great reformer, a revolutionary thinker.
But it could be observed with open eyes; the blindfolded or blind person could not see or feel reality.
And alas! Messiah Jesus, thinker Bruno, Galileo and Socrates were punished or persecuted for declaring or examining truths by rigid and intolerant authorities.
Why? Because some people did not want to understand the truth.
I, Sanatan, ask:
“Who has made or introduced religion?”
Yes, who wrote the epics or holy books?
Human beings wrote them, interpreted them and passed them through generations.
The claim to have seen or met God remains a matter of faith, not something that can be demonstrated through ordinary scientific evidence.
No prophet, messiah, avatar, seer, Pope, Guru or priest has presented the Almighty before the world in a universally verifiable manner.
And alas, they all lived and died as mortal human beings.
Where was their divine power or miraculous power?
It means, was that hypocrisy or bombast?
These are my philosophical questions, and a writer must have the liberty to raise them.
So while all this is worldly, demonstrations, protests and court cases should not become weapons to silence peaceful criticism.
Those persons who put transparent facts and arguments before society must be protected.
Immigration And Refugee Shelter Sometimes Produce Dangerous Results
Yes, immigration and refugee shelter are great humanitarian tasks. Such acts put policymakers near to God.
But sometimes their results could be complicated or even fatal.
Yes, immigration can put additional pressure on a nation, particularly when the number of incoming people increases faster than the availability of employment, housing, education and public services.
How? They may compete with local people for jobs. In some circumstances, employers may offer lower wages to migrant workers, affecting the employment conditions of local workers.
But immigration also brings talent, labour, cultural diversity and economic contribution. So it would be unfair to treat every immigrant or refugee as a burden.
Yes, one point is very important in connection with Trump’s comment.
France has experienced several dreadful terrorist attacks, including attacks carried out by individuals associated with extremist Islamist ideologies.
These incidents naturally raise questions about border security, integration, radicalisation and intelligence.
But the religious identity of a person cannot itself be treated as proof of extremism.
The real challenge is to identify criminal intentions and extremist networks without punishing innocent people.
There is a serious distinction between a genuine refugee, an ordinary immigrant and a person entering a country with criminal intentions.
Why? Because no device has yet been discovered by man that can accurately reveal what another man has in his mind and heart.
There are narco-analysis and forensic techniques, but no such method provides a hundred-percent guarantee of discovering someone’s intentions.
When The Nation’s Integrity And Constitution Are In Danger, Democratic Rights Must Be Protected And Responsibilities Enforced
Yes, to give shelter to refugees is a great humanitarian task.
India perhaps stands very high in this concern.
Why? Because India sheltered the Parsis, who fled religious persecution in Persia. They adopted India as their homeland and dissolved like water in milk, living with brotherhood and playing a vital role in the nation’s progress.
The Tata legacy is enough to say about their contribution.
Being a democratic nation, France has also sheltered people suffering in their own nations due to wars, persecution and other circumstances.
France’s democratic constitution gives its citizens equal fundamental rights, irrespective of their religious identities.
But in my query, I ask: what happens when some people misuse their democratic rights to intimidate others?
The French constitutional framework protects peaceful expression, religious freedom and equality before the law.
France has become one of the strongest advocates of freedom of expression in the world.
There, the media and individuals enjoy considerable freedom to reveal what they want or have in their minds and hearts, subject to legal restrictions.
What is right, what is wrong, and what is acceptable are matters that society must debate through reason and law.
And the doctrine associated with great Voltaire works there highly and strongly.
It means, according to estimates, Muslims constitute a significant minority of France’s population. But their exact number is not officially established through a religious census.
They are not all outsiders. Many are French citizens by birth, and many families have lived in France for generations.
This distinction is important.
But under the conservatism of any religion, some rigid people may emerge who oppose liberal principles.
It might be promoted by extremist religious leaders or organisations.
So those intruders or extremists, irrespective of religion or nationality, are dangerous for great France.
It is very difficult to recognise who is a genuine refugee and who may have criminal intentions.
Why? Because no device has been discovered or prepared so far by man that could know what a man has in his mind and heart.
The government must therefore rely on lawful screening, intelligence, investigation and evidence.
A democratic nation must be humane, but it must also be vigilant.
Blasphemy In India Under Hinduism And Its Perceptions
India means Indian civilisation, and the name Hindustan has a long historical association with the land beyond the Sindhu River region.
Before partition, Hindus and Muslims fought together against British rule. Many Muslims adopted India as their motherland.
But after the political manoeuvring of barrister Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other political leaders, the demand for a separate homeland for Muslims gained momentum.
And the British agreed to partition the country.
The partition took place in 1947 due to several political, communal and historical circumstances. It was not simply the decision of ordinary Muslims or Hindus.
Many Muslims left India, and many Hindus left Pakistan.
Under partition, countless innocent people lost their lives, properties and homes.
And in the newly formed nations, minority and majority words began to dance.
Often clashes were seen between Muslims and Hindus due to religious disputes, political ambitions and communal tensions.
The Ayodhya Shri Ram Temple became a major point of conflict.
The place where Mughal emperor Babur’s rule was associated with the construction of a mosque became a disputed religious and historical site. The demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992 by Hindu activists intensified the conflict.
Both sides approached the courts.
In the 1980s, the Ram Janmabhoomi movement gained momentum, with prominent BJP leaders including L.K. Advani playing significant roles.
In December 1992, the Babri Masjid was demolished by a large gathering of Hindu activists.
Why did the liberal Hindu become more assertive or conservative in some circumstances?
Yes, because of historical disputes, religious mobilisation and the growing influence of competing orthodox movements.
India’s reputed painter M.F. Husain, who created controversial paintings depicting Hindu goddesses in the nude, faced intense opposition and legal controversies. He eventually lived outside India for many years due to the Hindu rigid groups’ rage.
I, Sanatan asks, why Mr MF Hussain not made Aaysha Bee, Khadija Bee or Prophet Mohammad’s naked poses if he was really a bold and genuine person like Salman Rushdi, Taslima namaste and Tarek Fatah. Man born naked and under civilization wears clothes. Yes, due to protect from the climate and under civilization and modesty wears clothes to cover its private jewels. In the Hinduism and Jainism nudeness is accepted on the name of religion though quite secret from the other religions’ followers. Yes, the Naga Sages and Jain Munis remain nude but quite often not publicly but among their religious followers. Yes, rarely they seem publicly except special fest or pious occasions.
If we talk about erotic poses, the Ajanta-Ellora caves, Khajuraho temples and many other historical sites contain sensual and bare-body sculptures.
But it is not correct to blame an entire religious community for the emergence of extremism in another.
Orthodoxy and extremism can arise in any religious or ideological group.
In Hindu traditions, blasphemy is not generally treated as a separate criminal offence in the same way as certain historical religious laws. But India has other laws concerning religious insult, public order, hate speech and incitement.
The central question remains: should a person be punished for expressing a reasoned opinion about religion?
My answer is that peaceful criticism must have protection, while threats, violence and incitement must be dealt with under law.
The Equal Democratic Law Of France And The Fundamental Right Of Expression Of Its Citizens
Yes, I read that if any citizen of France condemns, criticises or, in literary terms, lambasts any epic, God, prophet, messiah, Guru or seer, that expression is generally protected under the country’s secular legal framework.
And obviously, if Christians condemn Islamic rituals, Allah or the Prophet, French Muslim citizens may disagree, demonstrate democratically or approach a court where a recognised legal ground exists.
But it does not mean that a peaceful protest automatically violates the Constitution.
This is where my argument needs a distinction.
The French Muslim citizen does not automatically exploit the Constitution merely by disagreeing with another citizen.
However, if any group uses threats, violence or intimidation to prevent another person from expressing a lawful opinion, that conduct must be dealt with firmly.
It means that in the name of democratic rule, no individual should be allowed to destroy another person’s fundamental freedom.
So clearly, due to religious conservatism and political polarisation, there may be conflicts between different communities.
But extremists must not be confused with ordinary believers.
I have read that the French government remains cautious and keeps a close vigil over extremist elements.
There are Muslims in France who are liberal, secular and committed to the Republic. There are also individuals who may follow rigid interpretations of religion.
The same distinction applies to other religious communities.
And it is a bitter worldly truth that when population numbers and political influence increase, some groups may seek greater influence over public policies.
The Majority Principle can become a dangerous nature in the world when it ignores the rights of minorities.
And alas, democracy’s central nature includes majority rule or mandate.
We know that most decisions, rites, principles and systems are decided on the basis of majority consent.
It means not one hundred percent of people agree with every decision.
But alas, except for democratic procedures, there is no peaceful alternative that can satisfy everyone.
And people have brains and bellies, so a hundred-percent mandate cannot be expected.
Great thinkers like Aristotle, Bernard Shaw and Karl Marx have expressed different criticisms of political systems, democracy, power and social inequality.
The challenge is to ensure that majority rule does not become the tyranny of the majority.
Chronicle History And Layers Of The Outburst Of Riots, Protests And Unrest In Macron’s Regime In France
Yeah, now let us examine the chronology of the present unrest.
The initial student-led protests emerged around concerns about school conditions, inadequate facilities, educational resources and the cost of living.
The movement gradually spread beyond educational institutions and attracted other sections of society.
On October 17, 2026, demonstrations escalated into serious violence in several places, including looting, arson and clashes. Thousands of people were taken into police custody, according to reports.
On October 19 and 20, 2026, the President of the USA, Mr Donald Trump, made provocative comments about France’s immigration policy and the unrest in the country.
He said that Paris would soon become a Muslim city and criticised Macron for not closing France’s borders.
His remarks shook the liberal world, and as a critic they excited me to write an article on the subject.
My writing ability to turn small smoke into big flames, or a bonfire, provoked me to discuss and pour my views from my own approach, yeah, in an all-round periphery.
On October 24, 2026, demonstrations continued, and the French government announced the deployment of approximately 70,000 police officers and security personnel to control possible violence.
The October 17 violence and the subsequent protests became a major political issue.
The student-led movement and the wider public agitation must be examined separately from Trump’s interpretation of immigration.
Therefore, the question of whether immigration-related tensions contributed to the subsequent escalation must be examined independently from the original causes of the movement.
Note: “Verification is a Devil’s nature; God always believes in man.”
Through this statement, I do say what is right and what is wrong, ah, is often decided by systems and human interpretations. So trust is always in suspension.
Furthermore, workers’ and labourers’ unions joined the demonstrations.
They wanted to uplift their living standards. In this way, they wanted to increase their salaries and make daily necessities affordable.
According to reports and political statements surrounding France’s unrest, inflation and the rising cost of living have been among the major concerns expressed by protesters.
But government reports and political statements must also be examined critically. They can be incomplete, selective or politically influenced.
We know politics could be Poly-tricks, yeah, shyness, cunningness, wolfness — an unconventional word, Indian slang or lingo! 😎
All these qualities may enter the game of grasping power, maintaining political stakes and establishing authority.
And France will see an important presidential election in 2027.
Opposition politicians, including members of the National Rally, have criticised the government’s immigration policies.
Later, common people who were agonised or resentful of government policies also became involved in the agitation.
And if we attend to a famous Indian proverb — Bahati Ganga mein haath dhona (cash in on an opportunity or take advantage of an existing situation), I mean some opportunists may cash in on France’s ongoing unrest.
They could be outsiders, immigrants or even local troublemakers.
Mr Trump’s suspicion cannot be denied as a political opinion, because France has experienced and suffered some dreadful terrorist attacks executed by extremist groups.
But suspicion is not proof.
So some individuals with extremist intentions could be involved indirectly in the unrest scenario, but their involvement must be established through evidence.
Kylian Mbappé — A Football Sheep (In Nature And Attitude but in game GOAT) Became A Snapgoat
Under this turmoil of riots, protests, demonstrations, unrest in France the FIFF World Hero -2018 Kylian Mbappe by guessing a missing in reckonning photoshop photo and ah fell in sheer trouble unknowingly or not being serious in answer just lightly
Ah! Trapped in an unexpected problem and trouble while he was a celebrity in a television programme, yeah, a superstar of the present football world.
Though the soccer star has expressed an apology, apology is one of the best virtues, but for it, one needs a broad heart and meekness. And the Chinese public reaction has not immediately subsided. 😞
France is burning with its own fire, and in it, the Mbappé incident has added fuel to the fire, or made a bad situation worse.
The eczema in ringworm! Adding itch to ringworm! 😄
Life’s other name is uncertainty. No one can say what will happen in the next few hours.
Destiny, for those who believe in it, reigns secretly in the world.
In Mbappé, a superstar of the present football world, we saw another example of unexpected destiny.
He was participating in a prestigious television programme and enjoying the occasion. Suddenly, an old interview clip became controversial.
He had been asked about an internet meme showing his own face superimposed on the image of Mao Zedong, the former Chinese leader.
In the clip, Mbappé described the image as showing some Chinese dictator.
His remarks were interpreted as disrespectful towards Mao and provoked strong reactions in China.
The video attracted widespread attention, and some Chinese commercial brands ended their association with him.
The footballer subsequently issued an apology, saying that his comment had been ill-judged and that he understood it had hurt people in China and Chinese communities around the world.
Ah! A seemingly casual remark can sometimes become a serious international controversy.
For a global football celebrity, the consequences can extend beyond the football ground.
France’s Glorious Successful Football Saga with Dominance Immigration Soil
Immigration couldn’t be said negative ever
Immigration has two mirrors. Yes, sometimes positive, sometimes negative. Yeah, when the Immigrant persons glorified the nation as their benevolent, original motherland. In this concerned India’s biggest industrialist dynasty The Tatas wow, glorified the nation as the original motherland. The family came india as the refugees.
Due to the moderate immigration policy many people adopted France as their nation. I attend the field of football. France is a big football loving nation. It has prestigious and envious FIFA cup two times. Yeah, in 1998 and 2018. And those players who remained heroes and leading figures’s ground and background is immigration. Thus immigration is good but when an immigrant defames the nation by wrongdoing misdeand that panicks the whole nation. And due to the honest people also come in the suspicion.
At first I talk about Zinedin Zidane who remained very famous for his great game but ah defamed due to headbutt. Though he was right but he shouldn’t go directly, he must go legally. His headbutt was so fiery and dangerous and that could be proven fatal that took the life. He is condemned for it by the football fraternity. But as the soccer star he is a revered player and one of all time great footballers in the football history. He is a son of an Algerian immigrant family. Such as Thierry Henry, a decent footballer also has immigration ground. He is from Caribbean land’s family. And Mbappe’s dad is also an immigrant from Cameroon. And above these all Michel Platini the first internationally recognized football star from France is from Italian family. But these all by born French citizens. Among these, four footballers three are Christians by religion and one Zinedine Zidane is Muslim, but only in theory, not dogmatic practical ritual Muslim. And above these all who are entertainers but Madam Currie, a pioneering Scientist, yeah, also an immigrant, yes, from Poland is an eminent figure.
But each coin has two sides, so on front part there is light and other part the dark.
But the country France is lucky so far that it hasn’t seen any anti nation refugee or immigrant. But this is unpredicted world and anything could happen in future. And we have seen that original natives have been involved in wrongdoings like spying for enemy nation, smuggling, etc., so sky is blue everywhere, yeah, the soil colors are different.
Great And Glorious Legacy Of France: The Souls Are In Worry
Being a student of English Literature, Political Science and History during my graduation and post-graduation courses, I was destined to read about many great thinkers and personalities of the world.
I read about great philosophers, writers, poets, dramatists, story writers and essayists.
Under Political Science, I read books related to great thinkers and philosophers.
Yes, I read Jean-Jacques Rousseau. His philosophy impressed and thrilled me a lot.
According to my study, Rousseau argued that the first person who enclosed a piece of land and declared it to be his own laid the foundation of civil society and inequality.
Whether this was the first such claim in human history is not a verified historical fact, but I remember reading or listening to this interpretation through my professor, Mr Kala Sir, who was so intelligent that he cracked the IAS examination while working as a professor.
I think he delivered this interpretation of Rousseau, and I also read it in my notes.
Mr Rousseau is considered one of the intellectual fathers of modern democracy. He advocated popular sovereignty in his world-famous book The Social Contract.
His philosophy became an intellectual foundation of the French Revolution and influenced modern democratic thought.
I read about Joan of Arc.
Yes, an Amazon figure on the war stage!
She was really a national heroine of France because of her courage, faith and leadership during the Hundred Years’ War.
Yes, the great quotation associated with Voltaire regarding the Right of Expression impressed me a lot.
“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
This famous formulation was not written directly by Voltaire. It was written by Evelyn Beatrice Hall in her book about Voltaire, expressing the spirit of his views.
He, as a champion of reason and religious tolerance, is saluted by the world.
He was a celebrated writer and critic of intolerance, censorship and abuses of authority.
His ideas influenced modern debates about freedom of expression.
France adopted a remarkable tradition of protecting expression, and its legal framework reflects the importance of that freedom.
One of India’s famous newspapers, Rajasthan Patrika, has published the Hindi rendering of this famous thought:
“Ho sakataa hein main aapke vichaaron se sahamat naa ho paau, lekin aapke vichaar prakat karne ke adhiron ki rakshaa karungaa, sammaan karungaa. ”
In Indo-Anglo version this quotation read as –
“May be I would not be agreed with yours views but i will protect your right to express and also respect it genuinely.”
In this great quotation, it is important to remember that the exact words are not Voltaire’s. But the essence of the quotation reflects the spirit of freedom of expression associated with him.
Yes, a promising boy since childhood who later became a soldier and then a commander and emperor of France due to his courage and leadership qualities.
He is none other than Napoleon Bonaparte.
I salute his great morale and courage, which helped him transform France and influence European history.
He was a great military leader and law reformer. He transformed France’s administration and legal system through the Napoleonic Code.
His legacy also includes authoritarian rule, warfare and imperial expansion.
I read Victor Hugo, yes, a literary giant and defender of the oppressed.
He, as the author of Les Misérables and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, earned great honour and popularity.
His writings addressed poverty, injustice, human dignity and political liberty.
Yes, as a teacher, I taught Louis Pasteur under a particular lesson dedicated to medical science.
He was a pioneer of modern microbiology. His research advanced vaccination, germ theory and pasteurisation, helping save countless lives worldwide.
Yes, I too taught a lesson on Marie Curie under a chapter on science.
In India, under compulsory subjects Hindi and English, there are lessons on all subjects — scientific fields, economics, social fields, sports and games, politics, philosophy, literature, environment, space and many more.
She, the pioneering scientist born in Poland and later a naturalised French citizen, made groundbreaking contributions to the study of radioactivity and won Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry.
I salute her, that a non-France-born person glorified the nation of France through her unique scientific contributions.
If we talk about such a personality who inhabited France after coming from another nation and earned big name and fame, there is also a footballer.
Yes, he is none other than Zinedine Zidane.
He is of Algerian family background and Muslim heritage. He glorified France in football through his exceptional talent and achievements.
Yes, Charles de Gaulle, leader of Free France, led the Free French movement during the Second World War and later became President of France, playing a central role in shaping modern France.
Yes, philosophy and philosophers — I am a damn lover of Descartes.
He was a pioneer of modern philosophy who glorified France through his great philosophical views.
He remained famous for the philosophical proposition:
“I think, therefore I am.”
He profoundly influenced modern philosophy, mathematics and scientific reasoning.
Yes, France in the modern era also produced Mr Abbé Pierre, who was born in 1912 and served society until his death in 2007 as a humanitarian and advocate for homeless people.
He founded the Emmaus Movement, which supported homeless and impoverished people.
His humanitarian deeds made him a prominent public figure in France.
Thus, all these great personalities who are dwelling in Heaven, according to our belief, must be worrying to see the unrest in their beloved motherland.
Being divine figures, they must handle the hostile situations and establish peace and prosperity.
Yes, they should give Sadbuddhi [Noble Wisdom] to the political leaders of their country, which has a great and grand legacy of glory and pomp.
Conclusion
I have remained and am a great lover of France.
I have read about great Napoleon Bonaparte, who became the emperor of France from a soldier.
I have read some thrilling and inspiring stories about him.
The world knows and respects him for his bravery and solid determination.
One of the most famous sayings associated with him is that the word Impossible is not found in his dictionary.
Though the authenticity of this exact quotation is debated, the spirit of determination behind it inspired many students and people to furnish and decorate their lives.
Under my article, this form or genre introduced as MessazAAAA, I have poured what I feel through my experiences as a man and have examined the subject through my literary and writing sense.
Yes, there are some facts that remain unverified, but this is not an analytical research article.
It is a shadowed or reflexive mirror.
The USA’s President Donald Trump’s reaction or comment that Paris could be turned into a Muslim city pointed towards the immigration policy of France.
France has experienced bitter suffering due to terrorist attacks, particularly from extremist Islamist groups.
And Donald Trump felt that the sudden unrest arose in France due to immigration.
But the original movement had several reported causes, including living costs, educational conditions and dissatisfaction with public services. Whether immigration contributed to the subsequent unrest is a separate question that deserves examination.
There may be hidden factors behind this disturbance, but their existence and influence must not be confused with established facts.
When Donald Trump says America First, I thrill with patriotic spirit.
So Donald’s stand on France may be interpreted as an expression of concern about France’s integrity, prosperity and peace, although his political motives and the accuracy of his prediction can also be questioned.
