**Friendship—A Divine Word**

Friendship isn’t only a word,

Yes, it’s the holiest virtue in the world.

 

If it is the truest, yeah, greater than kin,

It is a unique relation with joy deep within.

 

To have a true friend is rare,

And in such a bond, few are fair.

 

If you have a true friend, you’re so lucky,

And truly gifted by the Almighty.

 

It is well said—“A friend in need is a friend indeed.”

There are few stories of such friendship with deed.

 

But in my sense, the friendship of Pythias and Damon,wow, Unmatched

It comes at the top in the world, when the evaluation is weighed

 

The friendship of Krishna-Sudama is also much talked about,

While Karna and Duryodhana, too, stand out.

 

But Duryodhana’s aim was selfish from the beginning to the end,

And great Karna, knowing all, remained his truest friend.

 

In the modern age, friendship is often commercial,

And is maintained up to fulfil selfish aims ,yeah ,being material

 

In joy, friendship is enjoyed,

But in troubles, friendship is tested

 

And in my philosopher ah up to 99.99 percent fail in the test

If we see the friends in the material nest,find all waste

 

Very few true friends help their friends at any cost,

And such a friend,yeah,is God’s own host.

 

And He too makes him His friend in Heaven,

Yes, after redemption,by Him the eternal peace is given.

 

It’s all okay I point out a bitter truth

What ,yes,in happiness all indulge and enjoy ripe grapes fruit

 

And,ah,in sheer heat our shadow disappeared

Like it our friends the desert and like mirage

 

With rising sun our body’s shadow with us equally

But,ah,at the eve it gets scattered from our body

 

Such nature, most of the friendships stand.

In this regard only money that could be a magic wand .
