Wow ….! What an episode I am attending through this note. Yeah it’s a great example of sportsman spirit by the captain of india cricket team. Yes that is a small incident but very appealing and striking to mind . Indian cricket team registered one another Test series ( Border-Gavaskar ) win against Australia in Australia in the raw and stunned the cricket world . At the 1st time in 2018 india did it under the captaincy of Virat Kohali. India achieved that feat after 72 years. That time team Australia was not with its full strength if talk about batting . Yes its two leading and main run getter batsmen Steve Smith and D Warner were not included in the team because of banned . But the team Australia was equipped with the emphatic bowling attack. But on the series win of india under Virat the fingers were raised by the critics . And it was liable when the team hasn’t with its two dominant batsmen . But this time india did the feat in full presence of Australian leading cricketers. But this time the leader was not Virat. In the absence of the stand -in captain A Rahane the team did the feat and amazing with its new or benched players. Indian Team returned home at Mumbai at in the reverence of the winning team a Cake Ceremony is organized . In the ball there was a big cake on which there was a picture of Kangaroo . At the point of cake cutting the captain A Rahane observed it and at once refused to cut it by saying sorry I can’t cut it because on it there is a picture of Kangaroo and the animal is the national symbol with Ostrich or emblem of Australia. And I can’t insult any nation’s national sign . Hearing it all were startled there.
Yes this is the episode and more than the Border-Gavaskar Series win. Here cricket win and the cricketer A Rahane won the heart of the World and World cricket.crickek fraternity. Rahane is quite a philosopher in wording that you need to pay respect to your opposition and their nation. Further he says treat the rival well whether you win against them or creats History. Well ! This reaction or emotion won not only my heart but the heart of millions . Here I attend the philosophy that it is very difficult to digest the defeat. One who digests the defeat is the real winner when he promptly congrats the opposite by approaching self. And the winner too should be so meek at that time as that he is looser . I mean not arrogancy not vanity by body language by face.
Ajinkya Rahane proves that he is one of the gemtkemen of the game. Cricket is so called the game of peers and gentkemen but in recent years we have seen that the spirit is vanished to have commercialization and too much rediclous and rude mannerism and apptitude is shown in the game . Yes sledging , abusing , valgur actioning , intended wrong appeal, roughly appealing , mimicre, brawl, melee , scuffle ,ball tampering , match fixing kind of acts have seen in the game of gentlemen. Yes , for that indiscipline acts the customers or bearers are banned , panaltimaded but is’t on and on in the game because these all make the game more sensitive and hyper and generation likes it ,prefer it because including game they get extra entertainment . For this kind of act the life time ban is only the decision or weapon to restrict the acts and the game would get fairness . So the aptitude of mr A Rahane is appreciable and in this way he had presented high morale and ethical values of great India in the world. For it the PM , the Prez should honour and need to laud mr A Rahane publicly or on the national days’ ceremony. Indeed mr A Rahane has kept head high of our nation. And the generation and the cricketers of all countries should have inspire . And not only the cricketers but whole sports and games world .Need to follow the gentleman’s global respect spirit.
