I am talking about the Test Arena and particularly about the period 2008 to March 2023.
During this phase world cricket has seen some great Batting sensation yeah from India Virat Kohli [ 20 June,2011 vs West Indies ,born 5 November, 1988,present age 34) ,Joe Root (13 Decemver, 2012 vs India,born 30 December,1990 present age 32 ),Ken Williamson (4 November,2010 vs India,8 August, 1990,present age 32) David Warner (1 December 2011 vs New Zealand,27 October, 1986,present age 36), Steve Smith (13 July,2010 vs Pakistan, 2 June 1989, present age 33)
Babar Azam(13 October,2016 vs West Indies,born 15 October, 1994,present age 28) Marnus Labuchagne (7 October,2018 vs Pakistan ,born 22June,1994 ,present age 28)
Yeah these are the leading Batting figures who registered their name emphatically as the solid batsman. They attracted the cricket fans and mesmerized them with their lovely Batting. Yeah who is great ,greater and the greatest Test batter in these Seven Batting masters .
Yeah there are 10 Test playing nations in which there is no great batsman from the West Indies ,Shri Lanka ,Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and South Africa.But yes apart from these nations Virat Kohli from India,Steve Smith and David Warner from Australia, Ken Williamson from New Zealand, Joe Root from England and Babar Azam from Pakistan. Yes if see the stats of these batters then obviously Steve Smith and Marnus Labuchagne ‘s stay higher and highest in the Test Arena concerned.
First of all we observe out the statistics of these Seven batters because the stats are the main stream to scale the batsman ‘s height. Yeah in this matter the stat is a proper noun and the class that is the abstract noun that can’t be seen yeah only be felt. And so the stats are only the first thing to measure the height of the batsman.And to mind the Batting stats of Steve Smith , S Smith stays at the top rank. And Marnus Labuchagne gets second rank due have the handsome stats and Batting average. But here I exclude M Labuchagne because his cricket career isn’t longer and played just 36 Tests and it’s too early to stamp him the greatest batsman why because Virat Kohli’s Batting average was plus 58 once when he played 50 Tests but later due came longevity his batting average affected and reduced and reduced and slipped under 50. Yes like M Labuchagne Babar Azam isn’t come in the comparing list because his Test tally is under 47 and his most of the runs came against the minnows and he has still been due to test against tough rivals particularly out side his native country though he is a good batsman and hope could prove his same height outside frequently. So Virat,Williamson,Smith ,Warner and Root are in the race to discuss under the
comparison graph or mirror. Yes first of all see the tally of their Test career and find that all have played 94 plus Test matches at least and highest 129 . Yes particular individual tally of

Yeah Steve Smith and Ken Williamson have by playing 96 and 94 Test matches respectively maintained 59.80 and 54.89 and can say Ken Williamson is in the well chase situation to go nearer to Smith in batting average. Though margin of 5 is so big and very tough and challenging to equal.Earlier Steve Smith toured India And he struggled against Indian bowlers on the Indian soil and his batting performance remained questionable and poor and such as Ken Williamson performance was remai thinner in India.But it’s good that up to 94 and 96 Tests both have maintained good batting average. But alas in Virat Kohli’s concerned his batting performance and aver got fallen and fallen and to see his prime and previous batting height the batting average 48.93 is good but not satisfied and do hope he would finish his dazzling cricket career with 55 plus batting average though possibilities are dimmed about because the heydays or pick time of this batter has gone past and to get that rhythm again isn’t easier because the age affects the game automatically but yes if Virat gets chances to play against some minnows that would have the poor bowling attack then it’s possible. But okay this all is in the lap of future and it would be run with ifs and buts and critics like me would enjoy this fry with low and high flame .But Ken Williamson is in a consistent form and if he plays 5 to 6 series with the present height then he could leave Steve Smith behind in the batting average .Other batters Joe Root has 50 plus batting average and still some cricket is left in him and if perform well in 4 or 5 Test series well then could he soared in the average but tougher to reach up to 59 batting average but cricket is the game of sheer uncertainties and anything could be happened because we see a tough catch has been taken and an easy catch is dropped by the fielder and such as the ordinary delivery gets the big batsman out and the tough delivery grace him gently .In these five David Warner is already out of the race because his batting average is 45 and to go up to sixty is like break a solid rock with hands or fists.
And two young batting sensation Marnus Labuchagne who got chance accidentally to enter in the playing eleven due to concoction of Steve Smith on the fatal bouncer of Jofra Archer .And Babar Azam who is still young one and played some good innings and so in the race to go higher .

Yes now the talk about two youngest batters yeah Marnus Labuchagne and Babar Azam who are just 28 years of age and many cricket is left if both ones keep consistency and rocking form. But the longevity affects the performance with the age and time so it’s very difficult to keep same heighten performance through out the long career. And these five batting stars are the prior example of this fact whose performances were very high but with the time reduced particularly in case of Virat Kohli the down fall is higher and striving for such grand form.

Steve Smith 33,
Joe Root 32 , Ken Williamson 32 and to have the ages David Warner 36 is at the verge of retirement. Virat Kohli is 34 and if the selectors would drag his career minding his illustrious past then he has at least 3 years to heighten his stats.Then left Steve Smith who is 33 who is already at the top and it’s interesting to see how would he finish because it’s a bitter truth that how did you start isn’t matter how would you finish is the biggest matter.bAnd Joe Root and Ken Williamson who are 32 of age are in very good touch that Root has 50 plus batting average and Ken Williamson has 55 plus and it seems that both could finish well. And finally two figures are are in a big buzz due to their good batting performance yeah Babar Azam and Marnus Labuchagne who are just 28 and could be in the action for next 8 to 9 years and it seems that both are well capable to go higher. In these two youngster Marnus Labuchagne’s statistics are very prosperous though he has played only 36 Test [ Run 3328, Batting Average 57.37,hundred 10,Fifty 14 ] matches and Babar Azam has played 47 Test matches [Run 3696,Batting Average 48.63, Hundred 9 ,Fifty 26 ]

A kind of fans and spectators are the intense cricket lovers who know cricket so closely and prefer class rather than stats and observe all angles for deciding greatness and can say supreme genuine fans . B class fans prefer stats and prefer presence and how did run come in which situation, what the level of the opposition they don’t mean. C level fans and spectators are those who prefer result yeah only in their favorite team and player .And the last category of fans and spectators are those who prefer only entertainment and tension free game and it means who wins doesn’t mean and them want past time, want to use leisure time and take as picnic.Yeah who win they don’t matter their aim is only worthy presence.
