Yes have heard and read many a times that the Bollywood industry is very cruel in many worldly senses. Behind the silver screen it has the dark shade but then sham is its outer part and all that glitters isn’t gold because many ones lose out their dreams. Sushant Singh Rajput ,Kangna Ranaut ,Divya Bharti ,Silk Smita ,Parveen Boby are some awful examples in this concerned. So chasing the dream in the so called the city of dreams Mumbai . Yes to fulfil drams and maintain it up to the life is a challenging task. There are many grand successful and treacherous sorrowful stories in Bollywood. It is the bitter truth of Worldly world that it salutes only the rising sun not the twilight sun. Money is the real and main God and oxygen of the celluloid world for living and due have and not the famous personalities of their time touch the sky and stumped and dusted too with the hostile circumstances.
Santosh Anand was a famous lyricist of his time who dominated and rocked during his heydays but in present ( up to mentioned it date 23 February,2021 ) at the age of 81 alas living a suffering life due to the financial slump or scarcity but somebody remembered him and invited Mumbai which was once the city of his heights . Mr Santosh Anand totally shattered and was very helpless despite big name and have huge success story. But the world doesn’t see your present, it only youprefers your present. It is like the form in the games and sports . Yes how big player you were and how big success and ample record you have doesn’t mean for the selectors and fans. And you need to show your class and cadre ever by performing of that level otherwise you are thrown away or neglected at once. In this sense there is no place of emotion and your past high reputation. In politics such thing is in trade. See mr LK Adwani , Murli Manohar Joshi , Yashwant Sinha , Shatrughn Sinha and many more if count. So the performance and money are the big factor in this world. If you did earn name and fame then you have the name ever with you but fame is left far behind. Here fame means the money and money is the only matter of swinging world.
Here I circled the centric character mr Santosh Anand who has a big name but no fame as money. If you have money with your name then you are asked and worshipped by all. Yes in some sense even your progeny or children not attend you and they do curse you and taken as the burden. It is the bitter truth and treachery of brutal world.
In the public presence under a show ( Indian Idol 12) of remembering Santosh Aanand on his 81th birthday The Sony TV organized a program as his worthy remembrance as the lyricist with legendary musician fellow Lakshmikant . In the program there were the presence of Bollywood dignitaries, judges , Contestants and audience . And to hear the miserable financial condition of mr S Anand to the presence broken particularly ms Neha Kakkar -the present celebrity as a famous playback singer of Bollywood who was one of judges with Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshmoya.By being sentimental at high pitch she broken totally and her eyes trickled and burst into tears she proclaimed to offer 5 lac rupees as a gift to Santosh Anand . Mr Anand negates at once but ms Kakaar requested by saying that take her as his grand daughter and for the sake of this pious relation please accept the little money and emotional mr Anand melted .
Here on the Social Media some persons mocked it . Some cursed it . Some compared it as alm, ah what is it ! Some pointed mr Anand’s past arrogance, carelessness. Some slept his luxurious and intoxicated life style. Some ones pointed his unfriendly mannerism during his pick or hey days.
Here I put two stands in offering money sense that is offered by ms Neha Kakkar.
She did offer 5 lac ₹ publicly why … ?! According to my sense only to inspire other persons for offering help or aid to this legend who is in trouble ..
Second point is objectionable that why she offered such money publicly . It is an insulted manner because in real sense if you wanted to help to that maestro then you should have given it secretly . It was grace and the grace is indirect form of alms or begging. But alas ! It’s wrong. The grace is not the begging. Yes if any one implore you for the help then it is begging but by understanding the critical situation if you offer any one voluntarily then okay and divine task. And the point is to mind here that mr Anand did not demand . Did not show grace. Yes he revealed his broken financial condition. He showed helplessness but not demanded. He didn’t come Mumbai but was called . So the accusation of alms or begging is not appropriate. This kind of benign human acts should be praised . Neha Kakkar has shown a great spirit for mankind and one of high personality and the hero of her childhood time. Some dignitaries offered him the work in bollywood ,some ones say provide us your unsung song then we could make album and introduce your artistic work that is lied or in dust . Hearing that the legend lyricist and poet got so much emotional in obligation.
Here the lyricists and musicians should have or must have get royalty throughout the life and continue to his/her descendants. Ms Lata Mangeshkar first staked out this voice or issue and for that mr sage Mohammad Rafi got annoyed and that annoyance and dispute separated two legends. To have fuss and own stands both the singers remained in isolation bor distsnce. Later Lata Jee won and the playback singers are being got royalty. Such as the lyricists and musicians also be given royalty. Why because they are real architect of these creations. If this thing taken place legally then it is sure no Santosh Anands would suffer. The lyricists are the external figures or characters because they create with heart and provide the ground to rest of the band and crew.
Mr Santosh Anand has credited for the song of millennium- “Ek Pyar Ka Nagma hai moujo ki Ravani hai”. During distress period mr Lyricist remained in a deserted phase and it is sure during that period he would have penned down and have a great treasure of songs. At this age when he needs money for survival the bollywood lobby must have to use hid intellectuality again and by work he should be helped that no one can say the alms or begging . Though the Neha Kakkar initiative is pleaseworthy and it has given financial energy to the lyricist once again he could pour something special at the twilight . He was destined to write Ek Pyar Ka Nagma…. and might be would destine for another masterpiece from his pen. invited mr Anand to Mumbai to join this episode . It it under Sony TV’s that organised this kind of program to give platform to the talents. But it should also be preferred the forgotten talent to keep them live that the personality and talent like Santosh Anand would not out of work and suffered obscurity of any kind. The Indian Idol 12 that has been suited under worthy presence of Lakshmikant ji and Santosh Anand ji and the contestants of neo generation to have old is gold passion and the episode is indeed appealing and shaking for the heart of song lovers particularly to have mr S Anand and his solitary and miserable financial life due to paralysis . But his pen wasn’t handicapped and if the sincere fellows and bollywood fraternity would keep him in the action then the story would be different but okay some director and producer can cast a movie as biopic to have mr S Anand ‘s real story and could amass the money .
