Zero Run But Great Innings !😢

Zero Run….Can you believe it’s a great innings😆😆😆 !!!
Yeah Brian Lara made quadruple hundred in a Test match. Wow !!! What a great innings ! Sir Don Bradman made 333 yeah the excellent innings. Virender Sehwag made 319 Wow ,great innings. Vivian Richards made 291 against England what a great Test innings ! Thus there are many episodes in this regard. In the Test cricket or F50 or T20 format yeah the batsman is known for his big innings. But here what I am attending is quite odd and awesome that the batsman hasn’t any run in his account in that innings but wow or unbelievable that in the mannerism and situation of the Test match the ZERO is equal to triple or more than to 400 individual score.
Yes I am talking about the New Zealander Alot who is the medium pacer the then and came to bat at number 11 . The situation was so tight and crucial. Because the team New Zealand had to avoid follow on. There was C Harris as the partner . Team South Africa heaped out the score of 621/5 dec . It was very difficult to avoid follow on . There was no hope. C Harris was batting well but he needed the partner who could stay with him at the non-striker end. And it is awesome that Allot faced 76 deliveries with brave heart and mattle. He got out on the 77th ball but before it he had completed his great task though the team couldn’t avoid follow on but his rooted stay dragged the time and later his team could make the Test as the draw. Yeah team New Zealand couldn’t avoid the follow despite heroic stay of Allott. But without a penny Allot was millionaire at that time and got big praise for that runlesss innings. I mean without any run on his account his innings was great and heroic. Can the fans and critics give the place to this innings in the great innings list. Perhaps nay because for big innings the batsman needs score but Allott did not have any run on his part. But have scrutiny look no doubt it was not less then triple knock in my glance. I salute that tail ender bowler batsman. It is clear that Allott was genuine bowler and his task was to bowl only but despite being a bowler he showed his mental strength and tacnique and faced off 76 deliveries. By facing 76 balls he couldn’t score a run because he had known he can’t make run but can assist his partner who is able to score. Though his daring stay gone in vain but he was applauded by the fans. Think one sided Allott faced 76 balls then at the other end Harris would have played doubly. And in those count 152 balls then being a set batsman could score 90 because 11 could come as mr extras. Okay ,there are some big examples in this concerned that are attended but not focussed . This kind of unsung heroes should be attended and must give equal place like triple century elite group. If at that the follow on would have avoided by Chris Harris then mr GI Allott would be sung more than to Harris.
