Don Bradman is the greatest batsman of the World Cricket. His stats are seeming of heaven . And his 99.96 batting average and 29 Test hundred in only 52 Tests and 78 Innings with 10 Double hundreds and 2 triple ton in his 299 he missed only one run and remained not out. And to be compared with his worthiest name is in deed the glorified feeling and and great honour . Yeah so far the two cricketers have been bestowed the prestigious most title as the Bradman and they are George Hadley (as the black bradman) and Zaheer Abbas (as the Asian Bradman).
Yes the feat and the stats of George Hadley is indeed so heightened so he deserved the moniker and can say the title is justified one who called him with this title at the first .
Zaheer Abbas played 78 Tests and under it played 114 innings .In his 114 Test innings Zaheer made 12 hundreds and out of 12 hundreds there are 4 double centuries on his worthy name . And amazing that out of his 12 hundreds 6 hundreds are against arch rival india . Due have his great performance somebody called him Asian Bradman but the person who bestowed this great title for Zaheer Abbas is justified in real sense. His 5 Test hundreds in a home series against india is indeed a Herculaneum task but the bitter fact is that the team India’s bowling attack was so poor and at that series there was an infamous home side umpire Shaqur Rana who remained so partial with the decision and favoured the host and so batsman like Zaheer got benifit indirectly. Yes India’s bowling attack particularly the famous and quality quartet was at its sunset period and was not as impressive as that was at its haydays.
Zaheer hit 4 double hundreds in which 2 are against india .So to be called him the Asian Bradman isn’t justified and completely objected . Yes his performance in that home series was awesome and can say bradmansque performance. The Pak batsman after 2K Yusuf Yohana’s batting feat in a series was huge that was said bradmansque performance . So it need to revise that that was bradmansque performance not deserve the big title as Asian Bradman for that particular series . Yeah in this sense see India’s Vinod Kamble who has slammed 4 Test hundreds in which 2 are double tons so can he be said indian Bradman no nay never.
