{ On Sachin’s so called -‘God Of Cricket’ }
I often say I don’t flow as per the direction as most of the people do it. Yeah when I find something disputed or wrong or not appropriate. And then I choose to go reverse or adverse direction. Thus cleared that I prefer to go across the direction of the wind . Here I mean, think to have my own odd stand and put my view just opposite to have my prior facts and factors.
Yes I have picked up such a hot topic that the cricket fraternity has said and says Sachin Tendulkar is ‘God Of Cricket’.
Who has called Sachin The God Of Cricket isnt cleared but why is he called God Of Cricket is cleared through some big points. The main reason that denotes Sachin ‘God’ is that he is the first and lone cricketer who has made 100 International hundreds . The authentic written testimonial did start since 1877 when the 1st Test match been played between England vs Australia and under it the performing data were compiled of 1s class and Test cricket. It means 143 years of history since date 9th March ,2021 the achievement has found only by Sachin at the international level. Yes 51 centuries in the Test slat and 49 in the ODIs are hit by S. Tendulkar. Sachin played only one t20 match and there is no century on his name in this format. Only due to 100 of hundreds and 30 thousand plus international runs he has called The God Of Cricket. And the logic isn’t digested by me at all. Though at the international level performing figures are considered genuine and phenomenal because of an extra pressure so Sachin’ s performance is extraordinary and unique and quite laudable . And up to 1989 to 2013 yeah during 25 years of span many batsmen are seen by the cricket world but except Sachin Tendulkar no one could achieve this feat. To make 100 of hundreds is a Himalayan Task and at the international slat it is indeed a toughest job. There were many great contemporaries during Sachin’s era in the batting field yeah like R Ponting, B Lara, Inzmam, Saeed Anwar, Misbah, Yunus Khan, Yusuf Yohana ,M Jayawardene,
Kumar Sangkara,A Cook , S Flamming , J Langer, Martin ,
Clarke, M Hayden, R Dravid , AB De villiers , G Kirsten ,S Ganguly ,S Jaysurya, Arvind de siva , Mark Taylor, H Gibbs, Gream Smith , VVS Laxman ,V Sehwag ,Chris Gayle, Ross Taylor , Shivnaren Chandrapal, J Kallis, Coolinun ,Peterson, Ramnaresh Shrawan , Dooshan, Trescothick, etc. They all remained good batsmen and have good record with the bat . Yes these are the batsmen who left the notable marks in the batting field as the individual. But nobody could come near to Sachin Tendulkar.Yeah only Ricky Ponting of Australian was legging behind him but before it he retired from all formats of the game and his hundreds tally rested at 71 at the international level. R Ponting slammed 41 hundreds in the Test Matches and 30 in the ODIs.
Jack Kallis was too in the big chase but quit out to trace Sachin and said adiue to cricket to rest his centuries tally at 62, yes 45 in the Tests and 17 in the ODIs. .AB Delivillers was too able to do so but he too said goodbye very early to the international cricket. To stay and keep form at the International level is a big challenge and to accomplish the tally of hundred of hundreds Sachin too had to strive a lot and also humiliated for delaying 100 century mark because of bit dimmed form by saying stop Cricket guy …take retirement,etc. But Sachin was compacted to meet the feat. In this matter the Selectors and the BCCI too gave him full support to reach the feat to give the credential glory to the nation India’s concerned .
Yeah after this mentioning I do attend the major point as per the subject that Sachin is called or given the title of Cricket’s God . Cricket begun before 200 years if we observe out the history of its origin then how can God can come after 200 year in 2013. I say 2013 because Sachin reached this feat in 2013 and somebody or media baptized him as the God of Cricket. Yeah his feat is God’s job so he can be called – God’s incarnation or Avtar in cricket world not god of cricket. Or Cricket’s Avtar is fitted title for Sachin for his God like job.
Yeah, why is only the International level performance is the matter while at each level there is a combat and no bowler wants that runs will be looted on his bowling by any batsman. No fielder wants to drop the catch and miss field. No wicketkeeper wants to miss out any opportunity to get batsman out.
So in my 6th sense or critic sense domestic level performance is also important and can’t be neglected or underestimated at all. And if we talk only about the International Level performance then the fault of the circumstances not the bstsmen. Yes players like WG Grace ( the father of cricket and he made 100 centuries very firstly in Cricket so he can be said God of cricket including the father of Cricket whether of the 1st class cricket and Sachin should be called the god of international batting not the not of cricket . You know God means the father or the master in real ) Don Bradman, L Hutton, J Hobbs,W Hammond, H Sutcliff, D Compton and someones more in this elite list. Ken Berrington just short 4 hundreds, yes his centuries sum rests at 96. These greats have phenomenal figures at the first class level but not played too much at the International level like Sachin so couldn’t be become God like Sachin. Due to play less cricket at the international level their performance is estimated shallow or lighted and not credited as the gods . They played in those days in ghr available formats and performed well and there was only the Test match format at the international level for the cricketers and the 1st class format so there tally of hundreds is less at the international level due to less organization of the Test. But see their domestic or first class level performance that is awesome . Yes among them someones have hundred centuries on their name and their tally is above of hundreds yes Sir Jack Hobbs has 199 hundreds and sixty thousand plus run on his worthy name but alas it is not counted . Say me Sir Jack Hobbs’ first class level figures yeah over 190 plus centuries, over 60 thousand runs is a trifling job ? Think if at that time the game cricket would be played in such numbers like today then theirs tally of centuries would be over hundred at the international level and then there would be many gods in the game we would found in cricket.
There are 22 batsmen in the world who made 100 plus hundreds. Yes ,they are Patsy Hendren (170 hundreds ) Phil Mead (153 ) G Boycott ( 151 ) H Sutcliffe (149 ) F Woolley (145) Graem Hick (136) L Hutton (129) G Gooch (128) WG Grace (126) D Compton (123) Tom Graveney (122) D Bradman (117 ) Viv Richards (114 ) Mark Ramprakash (114 ) Zahir Abbas (108)

In this annexure Graem Hick is the last and latest cricketer who made 100 of hundreds at the 1st class . After it there is no batsman got 100 of hundreds at the 1st class level . Yeah Sachin and Hick both were the contemporary to each other . Sachin made his international debut in 1989 and G Hick in 1991. But Sachin became as the colt the horse of the long race and played up to 2013 while G Hick ‘s career ended in 2001. In the 1st class level cricket particularly in the county cricket G Hick’s performance was wonderful but at the international level he remained super flop. So till date 9th of March,2021 Sachin is the first and the last batsman who have touched the envious as well as godsome mark at the international level and for his remarkable task he is an Avtar of International Cricket particularly of batting heaven . Think there is only one god in cricket but of the batting arena and for the batsman 100 of hundreds is the criteria to be god then what would be the criteria for the international bowler to be called god . Is it 1300 international wickets ? And if the criteria is 1000 international wicket then Muthia Murlidharan well deserved bowler to be called the god of bowling universe . Muralidharan has taken 800 wickets in the Tests and 534 in the ODIs, thus his wickeys’ tally stands high by summing up 1334. But this point hasn’t been attended by anyone. Why….. because the organizing bodies prefer the batting greater rather than bowling. Why bowling because bowling point of view the total game of 40 (Test) and 20 ( ODI) and if this happens then the game gets over in one hour and there is no Paisa Vasool for the fans who pay high for warning game by buying ticket. So mind the fact that Sachin is legend batting field from India where there is a big market where Cricketers are adorned or worshipped like God and role model for the generation and so the board BCCI and sponsors amass trillion of money through this game under different modes. See the fact that the boy who dreamt a Maruti 800 car but today there is a huge collection of luxury cars in his garage. Sachin’s net worth is more then 20 billions . And it’s happened only due to cricket. Due to Money Funda the ICC is surrendered or leant completely before BCCI which is the wealthiest cricket board of the world who gives ample aid to the ICC. The IPL which is a franchise cricket that aim is amassed money only the scheduled is preferred by the ICC instead of the international games and prepares the calendar to mind IPL. Why …. only because of the money mania.
But okay coming to the subject I can say the title “God Of Cricket” was projected to have a deep thinking that is endorsement of cricket to give abundance popularity to the game. And see MS Dhoni and then Virat Kohli are the richest cricketers who have more than 10 arab or billion amount . So preferring those gentlemen’s figures ( of 1st. Class ) of that level to mind the certained cause must say them god too.
And in this supreme list many greats inducted as the god. Then the Indian Hindu mythology would be worked genuinely because this sect’s belief is that there are 33 crore or 34 billion gods in their Vedic Religion.
Yeah there are many wizards and maestros in cricket whose performances at the 1st class level is extraordinary. Yes in this mirror we can see India’s Vijay Merchant, Vijay Hazare ,Lala Amarnath whose cricket career spanned shortly because of the World War. But they kept continued their play at the first class level and theirs figures are attainable . But alas that are at the 1st class level not at the International level so not valued as the God’s performance or God like performance.
So my sigh is that the performance of this kind has done or shown at any level must be respected and considered that as the God like deed or performance.
No doubt Sachin Tendulkar’s hundred of hundreds is unequalled and respected by all and that’s why the title ‘ God Of Cricket’ is given to him . But according to me if the time and luck would assist those masters they would too call as the god of Cricket. And in this case the list of gods would be in greater numbers .
