Yes , these are the statistics of these four batting maestros. These all are running neck to neck and if one name has to pick as the topper then Steve Smith undoubtedly rests first and it is proven that he has been ranked first in the Test arena and won the prestigious ICC Trophy for the Men’s cricketer of the decade ( 2K ‘s 2nd decade 2011 to 2020 ) particularly his phenomenal performance as a batsman. At the beginning era of cricket the batting was not an easy task like today. There was punny bat, poor gloves, pads , abdomen , no helmet , not limited bouncers and beamers ,no field restrictions, long boundary line , uncovered bouncy , bumpy , cracky ,dusty pitch. These all factors go adverse to the batsman. And since 1877 to today the situations are changed and due to amended rules, protective shields , quality apparatuses , good facilites , and limitations of bouncers and fielding have put batting in the cozy zone. So comparison isn’t liable. And accept these batsmen are present greats. There is great race between only two batsmen S Smith and V Kohali. Both are neck to neck yes like S Tendulkar, R Ponting ,J Kallis and B Lara. But S Tendulkar finished out by being the topper. Here AB Deviliars who was a big competitor of these five but suddenly he declared retirement . Yeah such as Pakistan ‘s Saeed Anwar was big competitor of Sachin Tendulkar at that time but he quit cricket .
In present India’s Virat Kohli & Australia’s Steve Smith are neck to neck in the high competition but statistically S Steve is bit ahead. So according to me S Smith is out of competition . Then rest four ones Virat , Williamson ,Warner, Root and in these four Williamson and Virat are nearer . Williamson had 24 hundreds on his name but his Test tally is less then Virat . Williamson has played 83 while Virat has 87 on his name . And the difference of centuries is only 3 . So in the concerned of centuries K Williamson is very much in chase to Virat. Ken Williamson is a calm and docile customer while V Kohli is so aggressive and arrogant by body language and by nature. In an innings he gets four drop chances and make century and the completion of 100 he jums up to sky and pointed the bat at the pavilion side. And no gestures up to sky to God for his grace. It is the question would V Kohli overcome S Smith and K Williamson will overcome Virat.

The global fans love the game rather than the particular players of their nation. They love the game intensely so good players are their favorite ever what country they belong or represent not mean.
